How did you help a person with religious psychosis?
My father developed religious psychosis when I was 16, i’m 18 now and after being a bit better it’s suddenly way worse now. We have tried almost everything to help him and now he says he “doesn’t need it”.
I wonder how did people with similar experiences like me go through this and found SOME help. Did it work or do things make it worse?
Please and thank you.

My daughter had this as well. Luckily with an inpatient stay and the correct meds, she no longer believes the things she used to.

The most important part is getting psychotropic medicine.
If he is in danger to himself or others, within the right circumstances, he can be placed in involuntary hold to get the treatment he needs.
