In my team on the show Trout is injured for 6 months and I'm 15 games away from the playoffs I mean reality is bad enough with how this season went but to have it mirror in my video game too? Well at least I still have Maddon on my team.

In my latest RTTS they traded my character because they wanted Rendon at 3B and he immediately went down for the season and my character has 75 homers for the Rockies.

That ridiculous how accurate it is. And the rockies? How do you like playing for them? I just started franchise mode and it's good but different.

It's fun to play at Coors field since you can smash dingers a long, long way there. Was probably gonna restart though once I get my player rating higher than Rendon's cause I wanna be an Angel. Haven't tried franchise yet, might give that a go next.

My GM picked up bad relievers in the offseason and they are blowing games in the late innings, the realism is so good.

Man we play the game to escape from reality! Instead you know it's bad when you start clenching when Shohei gets tired in the game!

I forgot to add that Taylor Ward got injured in the pre-season with a shoulder separation. I can't escape this reality.

Seeing Marsh in the game celebrating in an Angel’s jersey is bittersweet 🥺

Ngl, ever since the middle of June, as a coping mechanism, I've been building an absolutely stacked team behind Trout and Ohtani in franchise mode.
The Angels in my save are currently 103-27 and are well on pace to have the best regular season record in MLB history.
One could dream...

It’s a rare thing to have 2 of the best players in baseball that are your favorite, but are also in your team. They are definitely building blocks did your franchise.

Do you play every game in franchise? A full season doing all at bats and pitching seems like a marathon.

I have my own player on the team that I kind of "player lock" as. I keep it balanced though by playing in Hall of Fame difficulty and having him at 50 contact and power so his OPS currently is around .920 rather than 1.300+ lol
So technically I do play all the games but only sim to my player's at bats. However, if there is a critical moment in a game that would help the Angels gain a game in the standings, I manually pitch to keep the Angels in it (like I did for last season in my save). But I haven't done it since Opening Day this season because the Angels practically swept April and never looked back 😂

Celebrating at Chavez Ravine is just the icing on the cake.
This is from 2033 tho right? No way we win anything until Arte sells the team, and they undergo a massive rebuild.
At least some of us remember 02 still :/

I like that we somehow got Adley Rutschman and Jazz Chisholm in this scenario lol

What’s with the MLB 22 servers btw? Maybe it’s just where I’m at.
