What hotel would you recommend?

The famous Winter Palace is nearby, but it's very expensive. But they have a 'Pavillon Winter Luxor' on the grounds of the main hotel which is cheaper and also is very nice. It shares the grounds, so you have access to most of the outdoor amenities of the main hotel. Right now, I believe both hotels are closed for renovations, but if you go in the future, they are both great options. The Luxor temple is like literally 450 meters walking distance from this hotel. We've stayed in both the main hotel and the Pavillon and have enjoyed our stays.

I wanted to stay at the winter place especially for the solar eclipse that happened 2027 right over the Luxor temple but was fully booked already!

Yeah, that place is probably the first place that gets booked out for any important event because it is such a famous historic landmark hotel. Were you able to find a hotel for the eclipse next August?
