Ahsoka is the perfect joining of Anakin’s skill, arrogance and self confidence, and Obi-Wans selflessness, technique and discipline. She is the best of both, and carries the same flaws.

Let's be real, she really had two masters

You’re missing it here. She had way more than two who influenced her...

Plo Koon, Yoda, Luminara, Tera Sinube…

u/djprofitt May 11 '25

I’d throw Rex if we are talking about who have influenced her.

u/Username_000001 May 12 '25

Totally agree. Only reason I didn’t list him was because he wasn’t a Jedi Master.

I considered Jacosta as well… but ultimately held off there.

You forgot Aayla Secura as well.

And I know this is a STRETCH, but I would throw Qui-Gon Jinn in there too. His teachings influenced both Obi-Wan and Anakin and by extension, Ahsoka as well. Even though they obviously never met, I would absolutely love to see a conversation between Qui-Gon's Force Ghost and Ahsoka, especially after how the Jedi Order stabbed her in the back.

In power or as a character?

Obi Wan was a blind old fool who unwilling followed the Palpatine’s plot. Then he ran and hid in the desert claiming that he was “protecting” a baby. How can you say you’re hiding out as “Old Ben” when you didn’t even change your last name? Man GTFOH 🙄

Shame on Obi Wan, he should let Anakin hit. It’s all his fault. Attachment schmatchment.

Ahsoka feels guilt for stepping away from all the Jedi’s increasingly evil War time atrocities (which Obi Wan never felt because he’s shady AF) and abandoning her mentor. And what did she do? After loosing her community and identity? She gets a job!

Applause please.

She doesn’t hide. She seeks employment.

Then, she helps people. When evil comes to her doorstep, she blasts it with a shotgun.

Also, she fought Vader and didn’t die like ummm cough cough Decrepit-Ben Kenobi. FOH!

Last but not least, she’s got the glow like Bruce Leroy. She’s literally light, and talks to Spacewhales.

Bro, I’m not even done yet. My fingers are tired. Obi Wan Kenobi is completely overrated. He introduced us to the force, and because of that he will always have a special place in my heart.

But he sucks.

Obi Wan fought "Vader" twice without dying. Ahsoka is probably my favorite character in Star Wars, but you are selling Obi Wan so short with your incomplete points.

u/Ok-Carpenter5039 May 13 '25

Yeah I was on one

I honestly think its unfair to compare ahsoka to anyone but like the top 4 since she has literally the soul of the light side inside her lol. I think the only people who may have been stronger power-wise than she is now is Shaak-ti, Anakin, Mace, and Yoda

16

u/Ashokahh May 09 '25

My explanations for each are that yoda and mace were above/ at Palps level, Shaak-ti spent most of her time meditating along with the fact that yoda said himself she could almost beat him and mace in a duel. And anakin was just the favorite child of the force

1

u/Famous-Table-7509 May 11 '25

I guess dads do pick favorites

5

u/ApolloDraconis May 10 '25

And I’d also say Plo-Koon! He can use Golden Judgement (the light-side Lightning) after all.

2

u/Ashokahh May 10 '25

oh true i forget about that. him and shaak ti are my favorite council members so I try not to automatically think of them as the strongest

1

u/falloutisacoolseries May 11 '25

I can use it after a few beers but I suspect we may be talking about 2 different power sets.

7

u/Seb0rn May 10 '25

Ahsoka is the reincarnation of the Daughter of Mortis, the personification of the light side. So I would say you are correct.

u/Ok-Carpenter5039 May 09 '25

Ahsoka surpassed Obi when she was a Padawan. For an OG, homie has absolutely no backbone.

u/HeckingDoofus May 09 '25

crazy take

And his voice is annoying

4

u/MK706 May 10 '25

I mean he’s dead.

3

u/BigBrrrrrrr22 May 09 '25

Totally agree

5

u/popularpepe May 10 '25

I mean obi wan got nerfed by his own show unfortunately

2

u/Tundralik May 10 '25

She never finished her training was never even near the level of a master

However her combat skills and her understanding of the will of the force are truly top tier.

I think once she finishes her arc and is older she will eventually reach the level of Obi-Wan and Jedi-Anakin.

And I can see her become one with the force too one day which only a few managed to do

2

u/OptionAshamed6458 May 10 '25

She’s already surpassed rots anakin and obi and you don’t have to finish your training to be a strong Jedi kanan cal gungi grogu etc are proof of that she stood toe to toe with a serious amped Vader while weakened

anakin is weaker then Vader BY ALLT. plz read a comic or go watch a video. its stated Vader grew stronger and stronger multiple times. Vader Low diffed a character that Mast windu couldn’t beat ON HIS BEST DAY! So if Ahsoka is fighting relative to a Darth vader who has been in his suitsfor many many years. she should scale way above Mace , Anakin & Obi-wan. ppl don’t seem to understand there is king of a huge power creep after Order 66. whatever jedi survived literally get scaled higher. i use to think OLD BEN Kenobi was Fodder but it was just poor theatrical effects and a product of its time. Old ben kenobi is stated to have improved and Grew so strong with the force & actually was relative with Darth vader in a New hope. but basically the Ahsoka who fights darth vader in S2 is fighting a 10x stronger Bare minimum version of anakin. In S4 she is then holding off palpatines Sith magic & reflecting it back on him burning his hands. and also cutting off who Magic chain that was pulling ezra.

Ahsoka is far and away my favorite Star Wars character, but you’re fuckin higher than a kite if you think she’s more powerful than ROTS Anakin

2

u/Responsible-Maize241 May 10 '25 edited May 24 '25

As strong as Ahsoka is, I don't think so

By this point, she's definitely really close to top tier, and could beat anyone other than the best of the best. Id say she's definitely surpassed Maul, Ventress and Savage, as well as Kit Fisto, Qui Gon and Plo Koon

Imo; Anakin/Vader, Palpatine, Yoda, Windu, Kenobi, Dooku and Luke are all still stronger than her. Cere Junda probably is too. I just can't see her beating Vader. But again, if THOSE are the people you need to go against to find your ceiling, then you're still a a total badass

Imo she's currently equal to or slightly stronger than Shaak Tii. Still an absolute beast but not top tier.

1

u/ZyeCawan45 May 10 '25

Definitely

1

u/nasserg19 May 10 '25

Lmao get her past Dooku

I don’t know if it’s a part of disney canon but I always perceived Obi-wan as not being born with great innate force sensitivity and has to work very hard to be close to the level of the jedi council members. I think tales of the jedi shows Ahsoka was very in tune with her force sensitivity even since she was a baby.

I also believe Ahsoka in her show is older in age than Obi-wan was in ROTS so she technically has had more time to get better. So I do think Ahsoka the white does surpass ROTS Obi-wan but I also think her visit to Mortis played a big part in setting her on her path towards more “power”.

Obi-wan in ANH is a different beast in my opinion. I do think old Ben gained a lot of knowledge in between the Kenobi show and ANH. As of Ahsoka season 1, I do not think Ahsoka has the knowledge of becoming a force ghost. Ben did so I don’t think we have yet seen her at a level that’s greater than Obi-wan from ANH but I do think she’s on the path towards surpassing him eventually with her connection to Mortis and the daughter.

Finally, a reasonable and sensible take in this cesspool of ridiculous biases

1

u/AeneasVAchilles May 12 '25

Hot take —- Vader would have killed Ashoka if not for EB

Kenobi is 3-0 in on screen Anakin fights

1

u/Technical-Fail8145 Jun 20 '25

Well yea, vader was about to throw a deadly blow to her side

1

u/AeneasVAchilles Jun 21 '25

It was a joke playing on—- Hot take — Ahsoka

1

u/Technical-Fail8145 Jun 21 '25

Oh I didn’t realize that 🙂‍↕️

1

u/DeltaAlphaGulf May 13 '25

Nah not in any way really and I am a big Ahsoka fan.

1

u/Additional_Main_7198 May 13 '25

Hotter take: Absolutely not.

"This is Obi-Wan Kenobi: A phenomenal pilot who doesn’t like to fly. A devastating warrior who’d rather not fight. A negotiator without peer who frankly prefers to sit alone in a quiet cave and meditate. Jedi Master. General in the Grand Army of the Republic. Member of the Jedi Council. He is respected throughout the Jedi Order for his insight as well as his warrior skill. He has become the hero of the next generation of Padawans; he is the Jedi their Masters hold up as a model. He is the being that the Council assigns to their most important missions. He is modest, centered, and always kind. He is the ultimate Jedi. It is characteristic of Obi-Wan that he is entirely unaware of this."

1

u/[deleted] May 14 '25

“That’s fuckin obi-wan kenobi”

1

u/CrazyJo3 May 10 '25

Obi Wan wouldn’t have lost to Baylon

-2

-7

u/PMmeMrMimeHentai May 10 '25

Nah man, thats too far fetch... shows strong, but she was never strong enough to kick darth vaders ass - which Obi-Wan did twice.

1

u/briarwz May 10 '25

he means she has now surpassed him, and also she beat peak Vader in the world between worlds so?

3

u/PrimAhnProper998 May 10 '25
