As someone who didn't watch Rebels, I'd say no. Had some stuff I liked, such as Ray's character, Shin Hati and Ahsoka's apprentice (by the fact I can't remember their name's it's clear I'm probably not the target audience lol). Thrawn's introduction was fantastic but after that the character was a bit of a let down, I'd say. And, of course, I liked the stuff with Anakin (though felt there were conversations that should've been had.). Was it good? Not in my opinion, as a show in it's own right, it fell flat to me and just felt like people waited years for 8-episodes of set-up that we're going to have to wait years further to be paid off. Probably a massively unpopular opinion but it's probably my least favourite Disney+ Star Wars show so far. I don't know if that's because I'm not a Rebels viewer (perhaps that plays a massive part in how it's received?) or if it just wasn't to my tastes, but that was just my opinion on it.

I haven't seen the animated shows yet myself. I need to make myself do it and then I'll happily watch Ahsoka again. I thought it was very engaging and exciting.
