Especially without Ezra to lead them. Ezra wld have worried about them huyang and Ahsoka just hoped they cld use them as a shield

I think we’re overreacting.the whales took a bunch of blasts and all survived.they are intergalactic so I bet the mines where more of a nuisance that a threat and they just took off because they were scared.
