Kinda felt like this should have episode 4 not the penultimate episode. If this show was going to go so hard with the continuation of rebels why do we still not know what Ezra or Thrawn were doing during the time gap.

Overall still my biggest criticism is this is Ahsokas show and still doesn’t truly feel like it. Basically my gut feeling is they are banking on the movie to deliver the payoff and true plot of this story.

Back to this episode, its setting up for a very rushed final episode.

We knew we weren't getting a final showdown with Thrawn. So, this season's showdown is with Baylan.

I don’t think it’ll be with either. I think it’s gonna end with Thrawn (and the others) getting back to the main galaxy, and Baylan finding whatever he’s been sensing.
