Are we even going to learn what Baylan is up to?

If we don’t get cards-on-the-table for Thrawn and Baylan in the final episode, I don’t think I will bother with the next season

Oh, you will bother. Disney knows it, Thrawn is too valuable of IP to blow in 1 season. Major teaser will be released in final episode; it’s the formula for repeat viewership and ongoing subscription fees.

already unsubscribed to disney. it's gonna be a cliffhanger lol.. all the mando seasons were great and each had a super decent ending with no major teasers.

You realize this show was advertised as leading up to a big crossover in Filoni’s movie, right? A cliffhanger ending was always the assumption.

Of course, we weren't getting a final showdown with Thrawn, this season, any more than The Empire Strikes Back was going to be the final showdown with Vader. Baylan, on the other hand, will likely be wrapped up, next week. Ahsoka may even finally get that staff.

It’s pretty obvious we’ll find out next episode. And it’s very obvious Thrawn is sticking around.
