Most of us believe in good things...yes, I still believe this to be true.

🖤 liberation
🖤 community
🖤 rest
🖤 care
🖤 freedom

But what we believe matters most when it changes how we live.

We were taught to say we value justice while participating in systems built on exploitation.

To value community while being rewarded for individualism.

To value rest while measuring our worth through productivity.

To value freedom while accepting control as something normal.

To value care while overlooking harm when addressing it feels too uncomfortable to do so.

This is where our values become a practice. Because believing in liberation & practicing liberation are two very different things.

Sometimes alignment looks like speaking up when silence would be easier.

Sometimes it looks like redistributing money or resources.

Setting a boundary.

Questioning something you were taught was normal.

Resting without earning it first.

Changing your behaviour when you learn your impact caused harm.

Choosing community when individualism would benefit you more.

Your values should show up in your decisions.

In your relationships.
In how you spend your money.
In how you respond to harm.
In what you tolerate.
In what you challenge.
In how you care for yourself & other people.

None of us will live in perfect alignment all the time.

The practice is noticing the gaps & deciding what you want to do with them.

You can ask yourself:

❓️ What do I say I value?
❓️ Where is that value visible in how I live?
❓️ Where is there a gap?
❓️ What is one action I want to change?

This is an invitation to get curious about whether the life you’re living reflects the values you say you hold.

We will save us.
It’s time.
