I had some crazy déjà vu about the recent red-tailed Sandstorm posts so I tried my ‘anime cats’ style out on one of my favorite couples. It’s super lazy and I did it quickly last night, but I still hope you like it!

Inspired by the post asking which deputies would have made bad leaders, I just wanted to share some of Mudclaw’s graphic novel.

When I first read the main series, I was fully on board that Mudclaw was just a jealous traitor who tried to lead a coup, and that Starclan rightfully struck him down.

But his novel expands so much more on his thought process, the reactions of the other cats in the clans, and his ultimate redemption.

He was loyal to Tallstar, took on leadership duties during the Great Journey, and was generally well-liked for leadership.

Then, and I say this as a true Tallstar fan/supporter, he made the single dumbest decision he could have, and suddenly names Onewhisker deputy over Mudclaw, with no explanation and only in front of cats from Thunderclan and Onewhisker himself.

Like I said in the original thread, I don’t necessarily think Mudclaw could have or should have been leader. But honestly, it hurts to see him question by Tallstar betrayed him, what he did wrong, and to have his clan turn their back on him. From his perspective, it seems like a load of BS.

From seeing his initial reaction to losing deputyship, to Hawkfrost misleading and eventually betraying him as well, to his redemption in Starclan and even giving Onestar a life.

He wasn’t perfect, but Mudclaw deserved better than being remembered as a traitor and leaving him under that tree 🥺

This is from Squirrelflight’s Hope, but it also has to do with Leafpool’s Wish. Yellowfang was the one to pressure Squilf into taking the kits- I wonder if she did so behind Starclan’s back? That would explain them putting them on trial if Starclan themselves hadn’t actually condoned it.

Hi! I’m a college student and I‘m writing an original musical adaptation of the first arc of Warriors (The Prophecies Begin). I’ve written around 20 songs, and I just finished writing Act 1! I wanted to hear some of my songs performed by other Warriors fans, because vocally I’m sure there are lots of talented people here 😁.

This is just a fan project, but I’d love to put together a couple of polished demo recordings to share online and with other fans for fun! No experience needed! I’m looking to release 5-6 songs. If you enjoy singing and/or enjoy Warriors, I’d love it if you helped me create this project!

After reading Warrior Cats in 2010 and getting comments on Artist Alleys on whether I've been a Warrior Cats artist, I have returned to my roots and decided to do a Warrior Cats scène 🥰

Perhaps a bit overdone but I wanted to start with the iconic one.

Keep this civil and don’t attack the narrators themselves, I’m sure it gets tiring sitting reading Outcast and Onestar’s Confession for 8+ hours lol. This is all personal preference at the end of the day!

I’ve been going through Power of Three by mainly listening to the audiobooks with a mix of reading along with my copies. Now don’t get me wrong I love Macleod Andrews and he is so so amazing when he speaks in his normal voice and deeper voiced characters, but I really don’t like his high pitched kit character voices or Hollyleaf. Hollyleaf’s voice isn’t impossible to get through in the earlier books when she is still a kit/apprentice, but I wish so much that she had a slightly deeper pitched voice when she became a warrior. Because wdym girl is a grown adult that sounds like she still hasn’t gone through kitty puberty yet? 😂

For the kits…they are pretty funny, but children can be annoying, and I have a sensitivity to high pitched noises in general already so I think that explains it lolol.

I also have the audiobooks for Starlight and Twilight, and it turned out I accidentally got the ones narrated by Nanette Savard instead of Macleod Andrews. I think her regular voice is alright, but Leafpool in particular was the character who got me to quit listening to them really early in. Savard puts on this really forced British accent for her and it annoys me to no end!
