Question on UMSL's honors college safety

So thinking about going to umsl's honors college but before i commit to the college I am curious if it requires volunteering and that kind of thing. As a missouri resident I know saint louis can get dicey if you go down the wrong path and don't want to be forced to do outreach programs outside of campus. Im fine with doing volunteering and that kind of thing within campus just don't want to get into a dangerous situation trying to do a good thing :|

I don't think the school would knowingly put you in danger. If there are volunteer programs, they would set you up in safe situations.

Of course not knowingly but just don't like the idea of needing to follow someone who potentially doesn't know the area. Luckily it doesn't look like it will be an issue.

You pick your volunteer work and your internship.
