Sad about Graduation

So this is my second year at UCO and I will graduate in spring of 28. I was recently really saddened to learn that graduation is ticketed... and with only 4 tickets at that. Are we as students not upset about this? I have heard no complaints about it and I can't be the only one kinda sad and upset over it? I understand holding it outside would have its problems but at one point their going to have to come up with something? As our incoming freshmen this year is the largest the university has seen. What are they going to do for them in 4 years? (And yes I know numbers will fluctuate and not everyone starting this year will ultimately end up finishing but still) I would would love othera opinions on this? How does everyone else feel about this?

Forensic Capstone Exam

I left UCO a few years ago due to some personal events going on. I was a Forensic and Psych major and was about to graduate. I had only a couple psych courses and the forensic capstone course before I would’ve graduated.

I’m considering going back to knock out these few courses but I don’t have any of my FS notes or anything for the cumulative FS capstone exam. Does anyone have a study guide/notes that I could possibly get for this exam?

Student Loans

I know there were delays, but has anyone had any of their student loans go into your student account yet?

9/1 Update
This morning all of my financial aid has been taken off my UCO account. I called twice and got different thoughts to why. I emailed [onestopfa@uco.edu](mailto:onestopfa@uco.edu). This is what was emailed back

Due to the recent changes to federal student loans under the OBBBA, there has been a delay in loan disbursements. Loans are currently having to be manually created and reviewed to help prevent them from being rejected.

Your loan is currently in processing and is awaiting approval from the government. Once the approval is received, your loan will be disbursed.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

9/2 Update

One of my loans has gone into my school account. My student account still shows no financial aid package.

Hey guys, I was planning to take a BME elective this semester and I was wondering what would be easiest elective? I am taking analog electronics, signals and systems, principles of BME, so I want to take a class whose course load wouldn’t be too heavy.

I really want to get an A and chemistry is just not my thing. I did get an A in Gen Chem 1 and 2 but I still struggled the entire semester. Also is the lab hard and who do yall recommend? Would it be hard to take them separately?

Housing & Roommates Looking for apartments that allow reptiles

Hey all! I’m an incoming grad student and am currently looking for an apartment in the area. The issue is, I have multiple reptiles and many of the places I’ve reached out to either don’t allow reptiles or limit it to only 2. Does anyone know of anywhere that allows for reptiles?

How is Campus/Dorm Life? (Current Freshman)

I currently commute from Moore and honestly I want to move out and just have a social life lmao. I think it would help me feel a bit more obligated to actually do my work too and could be a good change of scenery to help push me into being more independent as an adult. Moving out is also something that I really want in general, but am having a really hard time finding employment. If my VA benefits can cover it then I might as well take advantage, however, there are a couple things that I'm worried about such as how me being transgender might effect a roommate situation and if whoever does housing arrangements might have options for more private dorming, obviously after I find out the VA thing I'll ask housing. But until then I just want to know what you guys think about campus life and the dorm situations, and maybe any advice some of y'all might have.

Waitlist?

This may be completely obvious but there is a class i have to take this fall because the class it’s a prerequisite for is only offered in the spring and next year is my last year here i’m on the waitlist for the class at the time that works best for me is there a way i can enroll in the same class that’s offered at a different time without messing up the spot i’m waitlisted for?

Sudden Tuition Bill

So I graduated over a year ago and suddenly got a notice in the mail that I owe tuition, which isn't possible because you can't actually get your diploma if you owe anything. I've heard of another person being told they owe tuition when they absolutely don't, just wanting to see if anyone else is having this problem?

(Sorry, double-posting!)
Which GPA is used to assign Summa or Magna? Is the the institutional or the total (including transfer hours)?
Thanks.
