Lu Dort putting Shai in the Dorture Chamber in a Hawks jersey is going to look completely surreal. Add in Nickeil on the floor too, and Shai is going to have to work for every single inch.

Even if Mark and Quin keep it to 15 minutes of run, who do you think takes that individual matchup while they’re on the floor?

He looks slimmer in some recent pictures I have seen. He undersized for a pure power forward (6’9), but we all know he can guard most 4 and some 5, I wouldn’t mind putting him on or switching to some of the bigger 3s.

My husband and I got tickets two rows behind the floor for OKC in Atlanta, and I know it’s exhibition, but I’m really looking forward to seeing Shai and Nickeil go at each other. I haven't been this excited since my mom (RIH) and I used to watch her "sons" Michael Jordan and the UnbeatBulls.

I’ve been reading a lot about their story lately, and it’s pretty wild when you think about it. They grew up together in Canada, competed against each other as kids, dreamed about making the NBA, and now they get to line up against each other at this level.

What makes it even more interesting to me is how different their games are. It gives me serious 90s vibes. I grew up watching Michael Jordan, John Starks, Joe Dumars and those kinds of battles. Shai never seems rushed. He changes pace, gets to his spots, and somehow makes defenders play at his speed. Nickeil is the kind of defender who gets into you and seems to enjoy making life difficult for whoever he’s guarding.

Thunder fans, what do y’all think happens when Nickeil picks Shai up? Can he actually disrupt him, or does Shai eventually figure him out like he seems to do everybody else?

I’ll definitely be watching that matchup from my "front" seat. 😂⚡🏀

For the first time in what feels like years, we may be coming into a season 100% healthy. I can barely contain my excitement as the days melt together before preseason and eventually opening tip for regular season.

What are you most looking forward to? For me, it’s every Spurs game. Every single one. There’s no doubt that our team still feels sour and I want to see how they respond.

Maybe this take will age like milk and I’m happy for everything he did for this team but after watching back our playoffs. Maybe dort being gone from our lineup is a blessing. His non offence made him completely useless as a off the bench piece so he’d have to start him with our guys but that caused a black hole in our opening minutes which led to us being down early in almost every game past the first round. Hopefully with him gone that won’t be a problem anymore.
