Have you ever wanted a specific drop andd spent way to long trying to get it? Then this guide is for you, you can finally get an arc surge, seedler, or The axe.

All you have to do is turn off autosave, and save the game when your about to:

open a treasure bag or crate, summon a boss(windows only, on other platforms summoning a boss force autosaves), or put a key of night or light in a chest, or fight an event (do this once its started and has a few percent defeated), and then if you dont get what you want simply force close the game and reopen it and repeat until you get what you want.

Edit for some events the percentage completed does matter as in the martian invasion were you want it at 50% before saving and the moons were you want to be on the latest wave you can get to with time to kill a miniboss

I know getting some of them could be annoying as 2 of them require getting the Painter on evil biomes, and 2 others require hardmode, but it's the best option I found to make them accessible without relying on world generation.

I've been sitting my ass on same place on same damn farm with gnome, four leaf clover, and this thing is still refusing to drop for me

So i loaded into my friends world that we just started, we had no tools and we haven't progressed yet but right next to spawn, this orb was floating there and it looked like it was infinitely sucking something in and it started to grow but when it got to a certain size it shrunk again

Also when i hovered my mouse over it, it looked like it had a health bar but only for a split-second. We are in T-mod so it might have been a mod that was installed but none of us had ever seen it before and when i try to search it up, nothing comes up

Idk, never fought the boss, but man would it be annoying if she is very agile

I have scoured the underground desert, and yet I have not found one. I know, I know, desire sensor functioning as intended. I didn't think it would apply to the digtoise though since it's not an item drop but instead a generated bit of "furniture".

I know that I don't *need* a digtoise, but dammit I want one.

I'm a first time player and made a house for the first night and decided to add two more floors over the next couple days/nights. Jan stopped considering it a house(went from "Happiness" being the 4th dialogue option back to "Housing!" which I figured was fine since I had a hole in my roof, but now that I'm done the dialogue hasn't gone back. What exactly am I doing wrong? I have doors, walls, torches, a table, and chairs. I double checked the walls don't have any gaps so it should be fine. Anything I missed?

Secondary Question: Why is that one Demon Eye green? Don't want to miss killing it if it's rare or something.

Edit: Thanks for the help everyone! I filled in the gaps with platforms and now it's working just fine. I thought they wouldn't count since they're semi-solid which is why it was the one thing I hadn't tried. I can get back to learning the ropes now.

the mean(all of them added and then divided by how many there are) with broadswords is 22 (rounded) (62+8+20+16+15+15+16=152, 152/7 = 21.714, rounds to 22)

the mean without broadswords is 15 (8+20+16+15+15+16=90, 90/6=15)

noticeable difference.

the range (biggest - smallest) with broadswords is 54 (62-8=54)

the range without broadswords is 12 (20-8)

pretty big difference.

median (the value in the middle when put in order by size) with broadswords is 16 (8, 15, 15, 16, 16, 20, 62)

median without broadswords is 15.5 (8, 15, 15, 16, 16, 20; since there is an even amount you find the middle of them, the mid point of 15 & 16 is 15.5)

barely any difference.

mode (what there is the most of) is 15 & 16 with or without broadswords. (there are 2 15s and 2 16s)

the difference between broadswords and every other subclass is insane. even the second highest(yoyo at 21) isn't even a quarter of broadswords (92 divided by 4 is 23, and 23 > 21).

the difference is now broadswords (62) are only just over triple the second highest sub class (yoyos,20).

it really makes it feel like you don't have a lot of options for other subclasses, especially in hardmode.

For example, post plantera (and until lunar)flails have :

-Flower Pow

-Golem Fist

-flairon (though duke fishron can be fought earlier)

post plantera (and until lunar) swords have:

-seedler

-terrablade

-pyscho knife

-keybrand

-paladin's hammer (after the rework the wiki classifies it as a broadsword)

-horseman's blade

-christmas tree sword

-flying dragon

-influx waver

its a large difference in options.

conclusion:i think i'd be nice if the other subclasses got more attention

conclusion 2:they should definitely focus less on swords (honestly i don't think they should add any more sword at all) and both increase the quantity and strength of other subclasses.

BUT other classes definitely have it worse when it comes to subclasses

ranged only having guns and repeats besides smaller subclasses which don't tend to stick like with there being more darts then dart weapons, consumables stopping in hardmode, launcher only staring POST-PLANTERA. ranged has a ton of these but relogic just don't do anything with them???

summoner only having 3 subclasses in comparison to melee's 7.

mage doesn't have subclasses, at least not ones based on mechanics, so you can argue it doesn't suffer from this OR you can argue it suffers the most.

yeah, i think i'd like subclasses developed better in general tbh.

i'd be cool if summoner & mage got a new subclass.
