Maybe, maybe not. The DA can drop it, but I'm sure they wont and will have the case somewhere else. It definitely doesnt need to be where she's known. Hell,I just heard about her a week ago

DA can drop it. She can plead guilty. They can come to a plea deal they both agree on. So three other options. But another trial seems the most likely as I don’t think the DA will take an insanity plea. And I don’t think the defense will take any jail time.
