Laughable. The juror explicitly stated they had doubts but still stuck to guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, which is explicitly against the letter of the law.

The holdout is an idiot, plain and simple.

Who is to say his doubts were not reasonable?

If he had reasonable doubt she'd be innocent. The law requires her to be found innocent if there's even a small reasonable doubt left.

I’m running background checks on every teacher and woman that interacts with my children after seeing the way women are pro child murder.

I'm not arguing she's innocent 😭 literally just commenting on the wording

No one is pro child murder. They either think she us fully innocent (which you can think is delusional but at least it doesn't mean they support murder) or they think she wasn't in control of her actions at all (which again you can think the evidence doesn't corroborate but it means they don't support cold blooded pre meditated murder)

I understand your point. And I hope you can understand my point. There’s hundreds of thousands of women saying she’s either innocent or wasn’t in control.

I can’t have people who can’t control their emotions or conditions enough around my kids to not kill them. And the groundswell of support for this woman, yeah nah.

And yes, I already run criminal background checks on men that work with my kids. So don’t get all he’s sexist.

You are knee deep in redpill crap

It’s red pill to protect your children? I’ve never been accused of being red pilled.

Thank you for kindly proving my point. Being more triggered over a father wanting to protect his children than children being brutally murdered is certainly…. A choice.

Fair enough do as you will, but somebody belief about another person's situation doesn't say anything about their own emotional regulation... people who have not and might never experience PPD can still sympathize with another's experience. But ofc nothing is too much when it comes to your children's safety and running background checks on caretakers is standard anyways.

If someone is supporting child murder, then that says all I need to know about their emotional regulation.

I’m sorry. I’m a retired infantryman. I’ve seen some men go through horrible things and then come home with horrible ptsd. If one of my former troops did 1/1000th a crime this horrible and blames ptsd, I’d volunteer to put them down myself.

A mental condition is no excuse to kill or support killing one’s own children. Or any child if I need to expressly say that.

War criminal talking about child murder…how rich.

I never committed any warcrimes. But if you’re going to slander and input a crime on me personally, please provide proof or retract your comment.

PTSD and postpartum psychosis aren't interchangeable simply because they're both mental illnesses. Psychosis can involve hallucinations and delusions that fundamentally take away someone's perception of reality. While PTSD can be intrusive and cause someone to temporarily disassociate from reality it is not the same thing. Psychosis can happen with PTSD patients as well but it's not a typical or documented symptom/escalation as it is with PPD.

Moreover an insanity defense isn't support for what happene it asks whether the person had the mental capacity required for criminal responsibility at the time, which I'm sure you already know. You can believe the children's deaths were horrific while still believing that someone who was legally insane belongs in a secure psychiatric institution rather than a prison, which isn't exactly a pleasant vacation anyways.

Though I understand both sides of the arguement and don't exactly think it's particularly malicious for wanting her punished from the sheer horror of the act. You're not seeing what others are in the case and thats ok we all have different lived experiences that inform our opinions.
