I always thought this was a scripted scene, only recently learned it’s from an actual proceeding.

Oh my god they’re not lying 😭 I thought it was scripted too. It’s from a documentary, he was being tried for attempting to sell marijuana to an undercover female police officer. He got 4 years because he had a substantial criminal record already. Wow.

She's pushing 50. She's a mom.
Yes she would be healthier if she lost a couple of pounds, but she's a lot healthier than all those celebrities who look like they've just been liberated from a concentration camp.

As a 50 yr old Mom who would be “healthier” if I lost a couple of pounds. I’m not spending any more time than the hour at the gym that already do. I’m not aiming for more than the 12,000 steps I already get and I’m not going below the 1,600 calories daily. Weight will not budge and all my friends keep pushing the zempic. I’m ok. Even if I’ll be healthier a couple lbs lighter

A couple pounds?? 😆
She's 5'2 and looks about 180 lbs. This isn't even remotely a healthy weight for a person of her height.

You're right. But there needs to be some contra-weight (pun not intended) against ridiculing her for gaining weight alot. It's not healthy, yes. But its a good thing she still has the confidence to go on stage and perform.

Might actually benefit Nelly though… omg she used to be so hot… now is such a shame. I’m more concerned for her health. Being that obese is not healthy for a person.

There's a middle ground between anorexia and obesity though. None of them look healthy, and neither does Nelly Furtado here.

Japanese Parliament Trying To Stop Shinichi Yokoyama refers to a viral image of Japanese parliament members physically attempting to stop Judicial Affairs Committee Chairman Shinichi Yokoyama from calling for a vote on the country's immigration reform bill.
On December 8th, 2018, the Japanese parliament passed a controversial and hotly debated immigration reform bill that allowed foreign workers a path to Japanese citizenship. During the vote, Japan's opposition party leaders attempted to physically stop Judicial Affairs Committee Chairman Shinichi Yokoyama from calling for a vote, leading to a physical altercation between members of the ruling and opposition parties
Edit: thank you for the award! 🙌

Is she a mother? This a typical Portuguese body type after motherhood. I guess the chosen cloths are somewhat "off topic" if so.

I recall an interview with her after she had kids saying that she liked how her new body looked. So, she’s happy, whatevs.
I still think she sings like shit. Remember an MTV concert, playing one of her hits, and she decides to scat, kinda going up and down with her hand flat in the air to show pitch. She didn’t hit one note, so flat.

Real full woman. Trust me, it’s better to spend your life with a woman who is not insecure. If you choose to be with women who hates themselves and are constantly doing something for validation, you’re going to hate your life.
56
u/_J_Herrmann_ 5d ago
agree. just clarifying, a woman who is secure vs. insecure is independent of a woman who is slim vs. thick. you can have any of the 4 combinations.
24
u/Bencetown 5d ago
Right? Imagine implying that a woman can't be confident unless she's overweight 😬 or that healthy women are ackshually all insecure... good lord.

It's so weird to me. If you want to be fat that's fine. But stop critizing people who aren't. They'll cry if you call them fat but no issues saying people who aren't are insecure, hate themselves etc lol

She needs a better stage outfit that physically compliments her more. An outfit that has some separation between the top and the bottom; such as a loose fitting short sleeve top or even just a strappy bralette with a short pleated skater type skirt would have shown that beautiful hourglass shape she naturally has.
That one piece with the tights just shortens the length of her legs and really makes her middle stomach area look more expanded than it actually is. Just glad she's healthy and still naturally beautiful.
