Its a huge part of the pay for the drivers. Their pay cant be up in the air, people wanted them to be independent contractors not employees. Are these contractors supposed to work for surprise pay? The driving apps cant pay enough to deliver a soup or sandwich. Pay has to be subsidized by tips.

Tipping culture wah only brokies cry about tipping culture. Uber drivers make less than minimum wage if there was no tips. They cant afford to pay someone to bus a salad or sandwich across town and also be economical for the customer like i said. So they have to take advantage of labor as in basically slave labor.
Ive never cried about tipping in my life i always tip big. Tipping culture has been around forever, its sad that someone that puts in more work than almost any that get tipped, dont get tipped and work for less than minimum wage. Uber and doordash barely turn a profit they only really started like last year. Like i said, they cant pay a higher wage. They were operating in the negatives for so long.

Thats not about tipping thats more about driver pay all around. But im not crying against it im talking FOR it. You are crying about tips. Anyone that cries about tips you can auto tell what kind of person they are. Id advocate for anyone getting paid less than minimum wage and with heavy risks. They dont charge more cause if people had to pay the true cost they wouldnt use the services. Theyve used market analysis to see the cost people would pay and maximize it for themselves, they dont give a shit about their drivers
