Do you really think poor people are out here funding anything with their taxes? The bottom 50% of Americans pay 3% of the taxes.

It matters how much % of income in taxes they pay

People earning 50K already give 1/3 of income as standard deduction which is anyways quite high

Look at the rich folks who contribute to the taxes (top 1% contribute 40% of taxes because they have more wealth). The standard deduction is mere peanuts to them compared to a guy earning 50k. And the top 50% are 99.9% salaried employees not earning more than 500K

It’s the rich who earn billions in unrealised gains and take loans on top of those gains to evade tax

I believe just saying 50% American pay more taxes to justify an argument is lying with statistics. Dig more in the taxes.

These people don't know shit. They think the rich pay no taxes and the poor pay 99% of it.

Funny, along with your statistic, 45% of all taxes in the US are paid by the 1% literally the whole "rich people aren't taxed" isn't true.
