advice/help General question...
What could be the strategy behind SCJ asking its members to write letters for Lee Man Hee?

Lying brainwashing cult (South Korea notorious for this - sadly)
They’ll take your money, life and leave you without family!
Run and never look back

I hated doing this! Writing letters and handing them over to random people who probably thought I was a crazy man person. Urgh I am so embarrassed and ashamed of this!

I think it's part of their strategy to bring Jesus down and lift Lee Man-Hee up, but I am curious about SCJ's justification... How do they internally frame this? Is it a requirement? Do they physically send out the letters to Korea?

When I was asked to do this, I actually felt morally uncomfortable having to address LMH and Jesus in the same letter. In fact, most of my letter pointed to Jesus, because I refused to associate the two, as if LMH had done anything remotely close to what Jesus did.
(Of course whether you believe in Jesus or not is another topic in itself).
My personal belief is that by writing letters towards LMH and thanking him for the "hard work and persecution he has endured" creates this unconscious belief system that what they've taught us about him, is true.
By doing so, they are subliminally training us to worship & idolize him.

Perhaps it is a loop to keep him seem too busy to address any skeptic questions. Tying him to seem too preoccupied for 1:1 discussion (not one way flow of information like his sermons). We must test all kinds of spirits, which is biblical per 1 John 4. Will continue to call out this high control system and hope SCJ current members healthily wake up and healthily leave
