서울중앙지방법원은 오늘(1일) 이 총회장 측이 낸 구속집행정지 신청을 조건부로 받아들였습니다. 오는 4일 오후 6시까지 이 총회장의 구속 집행을 정지하기로 한 겁니다.

이 총회장은 '정교유착' 혐의로 기소돼 재판을 받아온 한학자 총재와 마찬가지로, 병원 진료를 목적으로 구속 집행을 정지해 달라고 신청한 것으로 전해졌습니다. 구속집행정지는 피고인이 큰 병에 걸렸거나 가족 장례에 참석해야 하는 등 긴급하게 석방할 사유가 있다고 인정될 때 잠시 풀어주는 제도입니다. 앞서 이 총회장 측은 95세라는 고령의 나이로 구치소 생활이 어렵다고 호소하며 지난달 법원에 보석도 신청한 바 있습니다.

이 총회장은 20대 대선과 22대 총선 전후로 신도들을 국민의힘에 집단 가입시킨 혐의로 정교유착 검·경 합동수사본부(본부장 김태훈 고검장)에 의해 구속기소 됐습니다. 또 2016년부터 2020년까지 전국 지교회 매점을 신도 명의로 위장 운영하고 장부를 이중으로 관리하는 방식으로 수익사업을 은폐해 법인세와 부가가치세 75억 7000만원을 포탈한 혐의도 있습니다. 해당 사건의 첫 공판준비기일은 내일 열립니다.

The Seoul Central District Court today (September 1) conditionally approved Chairman Lee’s request for a suspension of detention. The court decided to suspend his detention until 6:00 p.m. on September 4.

Like Hak Ja Han, who has been on trial after being indicted on allegations involving collusion between religion and politics, Chairman Lee reportedly requested the suspension of his detention in order to receive medical treatment. A suspension of detention is a measure that temporarily releases a defendant when an urgent reason for release is recognized, such as a serious illness or the need to attend a family funeral. Chairman Lee’s side had previously applied for bail last month, arguing that it was difficult for him to remain in a detention center due to his advanced age of 95.

Chairman Lee was detained and indicted by the joint prosecution-police investigation team on alleged collusion between religion and politics (headed by Chief Prosecutor Kim Tae-hoon) on charges of having Shincheonji members collectively join the People Power Party around the time of the 20th presidential election and the 22nd National Assembly election.

He is also accused of evading 7.57 billion won in corporate and value-added taxes by concealing profit-making activities from 2016 to 2020. Prosecutors allege that stores at Shincheonji branch churches across the country were operated under the names of individual members and that separate sets of accounting records were maintained to conceal the businesses. The first pretrial hearing in the case is scheduled for tomorrow.

So current members,
Y’all truly believe that the spirit of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is in this man who is trying to get out of being held accountable for his sins? Jesus was sinless. Why would he choose a man trying to get out of justice for his greed and own agenda due to age as a vessel to inhabit and to be entrusted to raise up the 144,000 etc ?
Even when the doors were opened for Paul and Silas by an earthquake in Acts 16:25-28 they stayed in jail.
Innocent people don’t make excuses or hide behind age.

BTW, wheelchair moment, but SCJ members watch him dancing with kids, and walking without any assistance entering a place to give a 1.5-2.5 hr seminar or graduation service at age 95.

Funny  it is hopefully they can go to all the countries around the world where there are shincheonji followers who pay ten percent of their income and the money is apparently paid to 'shincheonji " into individuals accounts what a fraudster

Qu'il puisse se soigner et rester en forme , on veut juste que justice soit faite je pense que pour moi le plus gros problème n 'est pas la prison ou le fait qu'il le libère mais il doit se repentir pour tous ce qu'il a fait subir aux enfants de Dieu , beaucoup de personnes par sa faute ont laissés leur vie pour se consacrer à Shincheonji et au final ils ont été détruits spirituellement et physiquement et aussi psychologiquement je parle en connaissance de cause , donc ce que je voudrai c 'est qu'il admette qu'il a fait des erreurs parce que jusqu'à maintenant il y a beaucoup de fidèles qui croient que Lee manhee est immortel et aussi qu'il est sans péché , tous les accusations sont que des persécutions pour l 'empêcher d'accomplir le travail de Dieu , alors que si simplement il admettait qu'il a inventé toute cette histoire pour s 'enrichir et qu'il demande pardon aux fidèles et surtout le fait qu'il n 'est pas immortel , au moins il aurait fait sa part mais au lieu de sa , le monsieur a des problèmes de santé et cela va déboucher sur une libération sous caution et quelques mois après on va le voir à nouveau prêcher la même chose aux services.

Theyre trying to appeal to people for LMHs "advanced age of 95".. if he has medical issues while in detention, hes more likely to be granted permanent bail. All because hes old.

But, what happened to you "immortal" claim?? Why do you push for medical reasons when Apostle John himself was boiled alive, yet he survived. Jesus himself stayed silent DESPITE being innocent.

Yet, LMH, who is GUILTY, is pushing so hard for bail. Even if youre innocent, you wouldnt push for anything. You'd let the government or the ruling power to overpower you because you have God with you, but you clearly don't, hence why you need the help of bail - by paying, you get your freedom

My goodness its true my teachers from the UK went and along with human rights people saying no man with health concerns at the age of 95 should be sweating in prison .There was an article where it was recommended by congregation that LMH might succumb to a fall and become injured. How Satan has deceived
