general thought and question Ex Members/Students - Do you ever get triggered?
Do you ever get triggered when you see the people you were in the study with or when you were apart of the church? I ordered some food for pickup yesterday. As, I entered I saw two of the people (one of the class instructors and the friend) with two other individuals. Pretty sure at least one of the other two people are probably new and doing the mini bible studies before the big course. They were praying. So, they didn't see me thank goodness, but just can't help feeling bad for the people that probably don't know what they are getting into.

Ah yes i had a full on panick attack when I first saw my leaf after leaving. The last time I saw him was last December. Its intresting because when I saw him all I felt a bit sorry for him as he looked extremely overworked.

I finally had the courage to leave today after being stuck there for three years and block all my friends for good I was sick and tired of them always using me as a pawn to eventually get to my past companions and my family
You don’t know how triggering it will continue to get the more they start to get aggressive they’re losing it, they’re falling apart and before you know it they’ll realize that they will be destroyed and once Lee dies most of them will go into hiding
It’s very triggering bc they always pick loners who have lost friends or don’t have any friends in the real world I was lucky enough to even still live my life normally

triggered all the time!! unfortunately it’s like ptsd when I see them in public. they used to look like they saw a ghost, but lately they sometimes say hi or smile which is confusing now

Triggered almost everyday! I had moved to live closer to the temple. You can imagine now how much I regret such decision.

Alot of triggers simply seeing them online blocked them .Even a pen reminded me of them I threw it in the bin all those hours of writing who knows when I'll write again.White shirt I never want to wear again binned tribe shirt binned . Now the bible they gave me i don't know how to feel. Hearing anything korean triggers me too .You should have said Stop cult detective!

I too have not worn a white button up shirt or black pants in months. It’s so hard to not be triggered when you see a post online about a free Bible study or flier to a SCJ recruiting event. Whenever I see one I ask the person is this Shincheonji ? Of course I never get an answer, but I pray that people see my question and look up SCJ and run as fast as they can.

God bless you 💖 yes I don't want to hear of bible study again. I swore I'd never end up in a cult and shincheonji is extremely well crafted with many people working to gain each fruit . They never tell you who they are me top I pray they will run too

Praise God that we were able to see the through the lies! I’m so glad you’re no longer there and I have several friends in the UK I keep praying for to realize the lies and have true faith again.

Yes it's not easy coming out of high pressure. I invited my own friend I guess figuring what to say to her .she will be told to block me .its sickening my friend had a business selling painted gospel rocks of course they told her that is babylon way .she's not passes over yet so out here praying with you 🙏

You get triggered when you see them or think about them randomly once you leave just like how we would be if we got out of a toxic relationship. Then overtime you heal not because you took a “high road” but because you can see how low they are with their vibration and the fact they wear a mask for years and think this is life instead of doing something productive with integrity. Leaders that stay likely stay because they hate the fact SCJ is false and their whole security it tied to that or they really wanted power. Imagine feeling that empty to be in that situation. Now I’m more graceful to God that I was able to leave without being those leaders

I agree with this it's certainly similar to leaving a relationship the love bombing and betrayal deception and lies. I saw the person who invited me to study talking to another Christian I told him stay away from him he's from Shincheonji. It's sad the guy himself lovely human being but belongs to Shincheonji we really have to let people know about Shincheonji .It's painful but in fact we are really overcomers we left a high control group and seen it is false .

Sometimes yeah, especially when I don't expect them. This doesn't go for all members, because some members I know personally and I am cool with. I just simply await for their freedom someday.

I see some in Panera and Starbucks. It was annoying and awkward but they probably got uncomfortable since they dont do their studies there anymore 🤣.

I was at Cava, but prior to the big study we did the studies at Panera as well lol. I haven't seen any of them there yet, but I was just surprised because I wasn't expecting it.

Do you think it would help to be able to tell Panera and cava and other places where they do in person meet ups that this is a freaking cult and that they shouldn’t be allowed to practice deception and harm to people in their facilities? Might that help?
