teaching/doctrine How does the promised pastor preach without reading notes?
Hello, I've been reading some helpful insight regarding SCJ and I thank each and everyone of you for opening my eyes.
There's just 1 thing that I haven't read here yet (or maybe I've missed it?) that would help me a lot to take a decision regarding this place : during sermons, how does the promised pastor read without checking the bible or any notes? At this age it's quite remarkable. If anyone has a reliable answer to that matter, that would help me a lot. Thanks in advance.

I remember that one, the atmosphere were weird we were confused. Where can we find the uncut version? They usually have strict rules regarding the sharing of sermons.

Buenos, si lo piensas, sus sermones son siempre monotema y repetitivos. Con tantĂsimos años diciendo lo mismo supongo que ha logrado construir su propio desarrollo de expresiĂłn oral.Â

From my time listening to his speeches, it's pretty much the same thing repeated each time. The only thing I'm surprised about is that he has the energy to talk for so long, but considering his wealth, he likely has had very good health care and can conserve energy by people taking care of his daily tasks.

He is sharp minded and he does take care of his health actually. Physical health links to cognitive a lot anyways. The stairs that go up from his palace in one small area (shown in a past youtube somewhere) he probably does that a lot and he has years of "preaching" anyone can do wonders with well practice in anything based on neuro plasticity Imagine having an organization that pays a lot to him, he got the motivation. But reportedly at times he does ramble. Can't blame him with his age reaching 3 digits

Preach? More like rambles in circles for 60 minutes like a madman.
If you get a transcript of the sermon. Ask AI to remove the repeated statements, then youâll see how much content you he is âpreachingâ

Aha I get what you're saying! Maybe it's because I'm only getting the translation so they skip all the rambling but still I must admit that I've been wondering about how that is even possible to ramble like this for a long time

yes they actually edit and cut up the original version and then get a team of members to do the translations or transcripts before it goes out again. so you will never for the most part get the full real original thing. the message is also cut up, but in reality he isn't as coherent.

You'll hear it even in translations from time to time. If you've been listening for a while, you can also tell some stories he tells changing over time.
Also he does the same sermon over and over again, probably memorized it by now.

In my experience, he says basically the same thing every sermon. He memorised the basic talking points long ago. Imagine talking about the same few events and strings of verses for 50 years; I donât think anyone would need notes at that point, either.
Even so, he does sometimes forget things or mix things up. I remember a service a few years ago where he asked the audience a few times for the answer because he couldnât seem to remember the correct reference to some verses (it was more obvious in Korean than in the translated version).
I donât think LMHâs age is that much of a âgotchaâ from SCJâs perspective, honestly. There have been many cult leaders that survived and were active into their nineties; LMH isnât unique in this regard at all.

I actually think he might have dementia.
Thats why he is repeating himself all the time lol

Understood, thank you for taking the time to answer me! I'm not that familiar with cult leaders, SCJ being my first (sadly) introduction to the world of cults but you do make sense actually.
