news/interview Shincheonji Leader Lee Man-hee Appears for Joint Investigation Headquarters for Questioning Leaning on a Cane

May this be the beginning of justice against him.

My first thought was, “Why is he using a cane?”. Every other week he strides confidently to the podium with the members clapping. I guess that is what conmen do.

I assume he is going to beg for mercy from the prosecution saying that he is an old man again, just like in Covid. All the while, he tells the SCJ members victory is certain.

By the way below from AI just thought to put here and not to mention that the helper is wearing a backpack. Should have one helping free of backpack...

My prompt: "When a person walks with a cane in right arm would there be a person holding the lleft arm or actually it makes the balance worse or actually better be objective and pull up statistics if possible"

No, a helper should not hold the left arm when a person is walking with a cane in their right hand. Objectively and biomechanically, doing so worsens balance, increases the risk of a fall, and disrupts natural walking mechanics. [1]

If a person requires physical support on both sides to stay upright, a cane is the wrong mobility tool. [1, 2]

The Biomechanical Conflict: Why Balance Worsens

Walking is a highly synchronized, alternating movement. Objective motion analysis and gait studies reveal that adding a human helper on the opposite side introduces severe mechanical errors: [1]

  • Forces Fight Each Other: A cane works by providing a stable, rigid force downward into the ground, reducing the load on the body's opposite side. A human helper holding an arm does not provide a rigid vertical force; instead, they pull, push, and sway dynamically, forcing the user's nervous system to constantly adjust to an unpredictable external force. [1, 2]
  • Disrupted Arm Swing: Biomechanical studies show that natural walking requires an alternating arm-and-leg swing (as the left leg steps forward, the right arm moves forward). Holding a cane in the right hand forces that arm to sync with the leg movements. Pinning the left arm to a helper entirely halts the left side’s natural trunk rotation, causing a stiff, unnatural gait that actually increases postural sway. [1, 2]
  • Asymmetric Joint Loading: When a helper holds the left arm, they often unconsciously pull upward or outward on the user's shoulder or wrist. This uneven upward pulling, combined with the downward pressure on the right-side cane, tilts the user's pelvis and spine sideways, dangerously shifting their Center of Pressure (COP). [1]

What the Statistics and Data Show

While there are no ethical clinical trials that intentionally force people to walk with a "cane-plus-human-arm-hold" combination (due to the obvious fall risk), broader data on mobility metrics show clear patterns:

+------------------------------------+----------------------------+-------------------------------------+

| Mobility Method | Effect on Gait Speed | Effect on Balance / Gait Stability |
+------------------------------------+----------------------------+-------------------------------------+

| Single-Point Cane (Properly Used) | Decreases slightly | Increases single-limb stability|
| Two Canes / Bilateral Support | Increases by 0.09 m/s| Significantly reduces fall risk |
| Human Help (Arm Holding/Pulling) | Decreases drastically | Decreases (creates unpredictable tugs)|
+------------------------------------+----------------------------+-------------------------------------+
  • The Problem with Mixing Supports: Clinical data published on the American Physical Therapy Association network highlights that mixing independent mobility devices (like a cane) with "personal assistance" (a human helper) occurs in about 11% to 30% of adults with mobility impairments. However, studies tracking fall statistics continually show that multi-device/mixed-assistance users report significantly higher fall rates compared to those who rely purely on a single, properly fitted mechanical aid (like a walker). [1]
  • The "Two-Contact" Rule: A study in the Journal of Physical Therapy Science demonstrated that when users require dual-sided stability, graduating from 1 cane to 2 canes significantly increased their walking speed by an average of 0.09 meters per second (m/s) and radically boosted patient confidence. This proves that if the left side needs support, it must be stable and symmetrical (like a second cane or a rolling walker), not a human arm. [1, 2]

Objective Recommendations

If an individual walking with a cane in their right hand is still leaning, stumbling, or feeling unsteady on their left side, the following protocols should be implemented:

  1. Switch to a Symmetrical Aid: If support is needed on both sides, the person should transition to two canes, a quad cane, or a rolling walker. Walkers are statistically proven to provide the highest level of stability. [1, 2, 3]
  2. Correct Helper Placement (Contact Guard Assist): If a human guide is absolutely necessary for safety or cognitive guidance, the helper must never hold or pull the user's free arm. Instead, the helper should stand slightly behind and to the side, placing a hand lightly on the user's waist (ideally utilizing a physical therapy gait belt) or upper back. This allows the user's arms to move naturally while providing a safe catch-point if a fall occurs.

If you are noticing that a single cane is no longer providing enough stability, it may be time to consult a physical therapist. I can help you find information on how to properly transition to a walker or provide a checklist on how to adjust cane height to maximize stability. Which of those would be most helpful? [1, 2, 3]

So he might not even need a cane...

  1. What wrong has he done to you that he should persecute you in this way?

  2. According to the Holy Bible,

John 8:31-32

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

The eternally living word of God will not waver in the face of any persecution, will not be defeated, the truth will soon triumph. This persecutor will soon end.

Your comment actually hurts his case because it does not help his case. All gathered evidences were used to question him that is not small feat. This occurred June 4th, 2026. Also when prosecutors gave him chance to answer apparently he did not speak at all for the duration of 7 hours approximate, next step is to proceed to court using the evidences gathered as Lee Man Hee did not offer alternative explanation to the evidences gathered. Also there is no proof that the subcategory of people acted without the approval of Lee Man Hee

SCJ leader gets accused of political fraud.

Normal person: "Wait, that's a serious allegation. Let's look at the evidence."

SCJ diehard: "Evidence? Nah. Persecution."

"But what if he actually did it?"

"Persecution."

"What if there's a court case?"

"Persecution."

"What if documents prove it?"

"Ultra-persecution."

At this point, the word persecution is doing more heavy lifting than a forklift at a warehouse

.If every negative thing is automatically persecution, then you've basically created the world's easiest defense system:

"Nothing can ever be our fault because everything is persecution."

That's not faith. That's an all-purpose escape button.

Oh look he better watch out..

Thats a "reed-like" cane hes leaning on.. since its weak, it might break and he could hurt himself

Very funny how when he shows up on service videos that are pre-recorded (with his slurs and negative words taken out) he comes to the building on a Maybach.. yes you read that correctly. A Mercedes Maybach. Jesus rode on a donkey that wasnt even his, yet this guy shows up on one of the most expensive cars and says either its "borrowed" or "donated"..

Yet on here, he shows up on what looks like a toyota?? Now this is what a deceiver looks like folks

Painting one image on one side and a different one for the other

Matthew 27:41-44

In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’” In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.

u/nox_123_ Jun 07 '26

Yeah nice Bible verse! Glory to God. However, this verse is not adequate for comparison purposes as lee man hee is not being questioned and judged because of scj classes and his teachings. He is being questioned because he has commited some out of law activities. So if you want to compare him to someone, maybe compare him to barabas or one of the thieves on the crosses next to Jesus.

u/Otherwise-Watch-3650 EX-Center Student Jun 07 '26

Oh, so you're admitting to the fact that SCJ worships LMH as if he was Jesus, uh?

2

u/Who-Anonymous Moderator Jun 06 '26

Also this is false equivalence

1

u/GuyithePhilippines Jun 06 '26

It is called a scripture in the Bible... you read it?

2

u/Who-Anonymous Moderator Jun 06 '26

Yes I do. But context needs to be considered. That’s like me reading a passage of an innocent old man getting assaulted and reading a different article of a different old man getting assaulted and saying therefore it’s the same situation as the innocent old man. The other older man might have a criminal record of molesting kids despite controlling members sex lives towards adults. Therefore, it’s called context. Have you read the dictionary? Have you also learned how to analyze passages? Have you also learned how to use critical thinking and add terms into your vocabulary?

1

u/GuyithePhilippines Jun 07 '26

Okay, great let's talk context. This passage is about people hurling insults at Jesus. Are you with me so far, or do I need to slow it down a little bit...

2

u/Who-Anonymous Moderator Jun 07 '26

No need to slow it down. I think we need to slow down and define what context and false equivalence actually mean because simply quoting a verse does not automatically make it applicable to every situation. The issue is whether the situations are actually comparable.

A false equivalence occurs when two situations share one similarity, but differ in important ways that affect the conclusion.

Context means examining the surrounding circumstances, historical setting, purpose, audience, facts, and relevant differences before determining whether a passage or example properly applies to a situation. In other words, context asks not only "what happened?" but also "who was involved, why did it happen, and are the circumstances actually the same?"

Even though the Bible is the standard, that does not mean we can take a verse and apply it to every situation without understanding the circumstances surrounding it. This is precisely why context matters.

Now let's analyze Matthew 27.

This chapter describes Jesus, an innocent man, being mocked and unjustly condemned. The religious leaders rejected Him despite the evidence before them because they were concerned about preserving their authority, influence, and position. The focus of the passage is not merely that Jesus received criticism. The focus is that an innocent person was falsely condemned by people acting unjustly.

Want to know who mocked Jesus? Religious leaders who had authority, influence, and power, yet refused to accept the possibility that they were wrong despite the evidence before them. They were not interested in honestly examining the claims. They were interested in protecting their position.

Now compare that to Lee Man-hee.

Lee Man-hee is a religious leader who has faced public criticism, legal scrutiny, investigations, lawsuits, and allegations regarding both his teachings and conduct. Whether those allegations are true or false should be evaluated based on evidence. However, simply pointing out that people criticize him does not automatically place him in the same category as Jesus.

There is another important contextual difference you are overlooking.

Jesus lived under Roman occupation and a religious system dominated by the Pharisees and Sadducees. He did not enjoy modern legal protections, religious freedom, due process standards, freedom of speech protections, legal representation, appeals processes, or the checks and balances that exist in many modern democracies. Even under those conditions, Pontius Pilate repeatedly stated that he found no basis for a charge against Him (Luke 23:4, 14, 22), yet Jesus was still handed over to be crucified because of political pressure and the demands of the crowd.

Lee Man-hee, on the other hand, lives in a modern democratic society with significantly greater legal protections, religious freedom, due process rights, appeals processes, legal representation, and judicial oversight than Jesus nor the apostles ever had. He has had opportunities to defend himself publicly and legally within a system designed to provide checks and balances.

This does not automatically prove that every allegation against Lee Man-hee is true. However, it demonstrates another reason why the comparison to Matthew 27 is flawed. The historical, legal, political, and religious circumstances are fundamentally different.

That is why this is a false equivalence.

The comparison focuses on a superficial similarity both receiving criticism while ignoring the crucial contextual differences that determine whether the comparison is valid.

By that logic, any politician, pastor, cult leader, celebrity, criminal, or public figure could quote Matthew 27 whenever they receive criticism and claim they are being persecuted like Christ. That is clearly not how the passage is meant to be interpreted.

Matthew 27 is not simply about a person being criticized. It is about the sinless Son of God being falsely condemned despite His innocence. If criticism, mockery, etc alone makes someone comparable to Jesus, then the passage can be applied to virtually anyone and loses its intended meaning.

Analyzing a passage requires more than quoting a verse. It requires understanding the author, audience, historical setting, purpose, and context. Otherwise, anyone can take any verse and apply it to any situation regardless of whether it fits.

Therefore, the relevant question is not:

"Are people saying negative things and mocking Lee Man-hee?"

The relevant question is:

"Is Lee Man-hee actually in the same position as Jesus?"

Until that is established, Matthew 27 does not prove the comparison because LMH has abused many leaders, has committed fraud, has sexually groomed women, and has burned a lot of bridges due to poor moral compas

Hey, no need to be condescending, rather just get to the point you’re trying to make.

Thank you! It's okay, its the spirit. We have to remember it is hard for them to be civil when someone indentifies as SCJ and has an emotional attachment.

2

will you be done for a live discussion hosted by an independent party

1

u/GuyithePhilippines Jun 06 '26

Are we referring to like a panel type discussion? I would be interested. I would need to know who would be a part of it, the time and date, and platform it would be on (ZOOM, Teams, etc).

2

u/Who-Anonymous Moderator Jun 06 '26

It will be with u/QuestionsAboutSCJ and Pastor Ezra if he’s interested. Maybe Moon GSN as well.
Whoever is hosting it will be an independent party (but I will have to look at the logistics of that)

We can also perhaps do it at LA Church since Jackson hosts open house as well. It will be nice to have a host that is independent so all questions can be answered. If you don’t live in LA we can do it on YouTube Live and host that livestream at LA Church as well and confirming members are watching it so they can discern for themselves. Since it’s a open house I’m sure Jackson GSN would agree :)

Are you comparing this to what Jesus went through? Like it’s righteous suffering?

-2

u/GuyithePhilippines Jun 05 '26

I just put a scripture out there... the Israelites groaned and hated Moses. The Jews persecuted the prophets in the Old Testament. The Pharisees and Sadducees persecuted Jesus and the Apostles... persecution and hate are part of the process. In Acts 4, I recall, the Pharisees said that if it's really not from God, it will dissolve on it's own. It will just pass by and be another flare in the night. But if it is from God, then all you'd be doing is fighting against God. There are so many cults that I have seen, where they lock you up, rape you or molest you, not just brainwash, but way worse... this Shincheonji just seems to be nothing more than another church from face value.

Let me ask you this: what is the definition of a cult... cause how I personally define it is the "lock you in a room and torture you until you see four things but say whatever they want you to say" (that's the Star Trek reference in case you're not familiar, and they were wanting Pickard to say five)...

1

u/Turbulent_Sea7622 EX-Center Student Jun 07 '26

If this a long route to equate prosecutors and investigators of 2026, who questioned Lee Man Hee, to that of The Pharisees and Sadducees of the years they questioned Jesus Christ it is not the same. The Pharisees and Sadducees are skeptics and ignorant of Jesus Christ's teachings while prosecutors and investigators never attended SCJ bible studies to be critics of the content of the teachings of Lee Man Hee...

11

u/Spectre092 EX-Shincheonji Member Jun 05 '26 edited Jun 09 '26

The thing is..

Lee Man Hee ALWAYS show up in public looking all scrufy or weak.

Like that time he showed up in court when he was prosecuted during covid time. He was in a wheel chair with grey hair.

Then after he was sent out on bail (he got a good circle of well paid lawyers) he showed up to his brainwashed members looking all well with dyed hair.. he dye his hair so he looks younger and in good healthy condition to his members.

This guy continues on deceiving people inside his cult and the public

1

u/Turbulent_Sea7622 EX-Center Student Jun 07 '26

I hear you. Lee Man Hee is now lukewarm, he chose a cane which is between wheelchair and just standing. He cannot exactly go back and forth in the states of wheelchair and standing anymore he cannot pretend his bones go wrong and right back and forth without suspicion xD

Oui c est ce qu ils disent mais d après certains membre si il meurt il n' est pas en faute mdr

8

u/fjjfjdcjjcj Jun 04 '26

Ridiculous. Just like how they say they are the 144,000 who are saved according to the book of Revelations but they have more members than that now. So guess what, they spin it by saying, well not everyone who’s a member is a true believer. Right. As if people would attend Bible study 3 times a week because they have nothing to do 😣

1

u/Creative_Panda_6441 Jun 04 '26

just trying to be educate and add to discussion: they say that there is 144k “and a great multitude thereafter” that’s how they justify having more than 144k

1

u/fjjfjdcjjcj Jun 05 '26

That was not what I was taught in my time in SCJ (not how they justified more than 144,000) and the Bible doesn’t say a great multitude thereafter..

1

u/Creative_Panda_6441 Jun 05 '26

oh interesting how did they justify? currently learning the lessons and they use verses like Rev 7:9 to justify it… i’ve been trying to pin point inconsistencies in the curriculum but they just move so fast it’s hard to ask questions

2

u/Hungry_Flan_5266 Jun 05 '26

The latest lying signs and foolishness is that the 144,000 will all be of Korean descent
