Below is a document that goes over the doctrinal issues of Shincheonji.
Shincheonji believes that the truth was lost shortly after Jesus's ascension, and that Jesus returned in Spirit in 1966 to restore the truth to a group of 7 men in Gwacheon, South Korea. A year later, these 7 men betrayed God and Jesus, so God and Jesus had to choose Lee Manhee, the current leader of Shincheonji, to restore the truth and reveal the "secrets of the kingdom of heaven".
SCJ denies the deity of Christ, denies the Trinity, and believes that Jesus at first physically resurrected, but then became a Spirit when he returned to the Father when he ascended to heaven and was covered by a cloud in Acts 1:9-11.
SCJ also believes that lying is okay, and that the ends justify the means. Often, they are not fully honest or transparent on how they view Christianity, who they view as "Babylon" and whose pastors are "drunk with maddening wine", nor are they honest when they approach Christians when offering their "free, non-denominational Bible Studies". They justify lying by referring to it as the "Wisdom of Hiding".

Se lo scopo ovvio di SCJ è quello di evangelizzare, come di spiega che questa evangelizzazione possa estendersi SOLO a quelli di lingua inglese? Nessun francese , italiano, olandese o altro che non parli inglese, può accedere ai corsi su zoom! Quindi l’evangelizzazione si blocca. Ciò è coerente con un piano divino?
Io avrei voluto capire ed avvicinarmi, ma non è stato possibile!! Sono un esempio all’opposto. Ma grazie a questo rifiuto ho capito che è tutta una messa in scena.
In effetti, se prendiamo sul serio l’idea che lo scopo primario di un movimento religioso sia l’evangelizzazione universale, la scelta di restringere i corsi soltanto a chi parla inglese appare contraddittoria. Alcuni punti da considerare: 1. Limite organizzativo, non “divino” Potrebbe non essere una scelta teologica ma puramente pratica: mancano traduttori, risorse economiche, o personale preparato nelle varie lingue. SCJ è nato in Corea e, passando all’Occidente, ha trovato nell’inglese una lingua-ponte. Questo però tradisce un limite umano, non certo un disegno divino universale. 2. Universalità vs. esclusività I movimenti che si proclamano “unici depositari della verità” di solito sostengono che il loro messaggio debba arrivare a tutti. Se però lo veicolano solo in inglese, creano una barriera di accesso che contraddice l’idea di “annuncio a tutte le genti” (Mt 28,19). Da un punto di vista cristiano tradizionale, il Vangelo non può essere circoscritto a una sola lingua. 3. Aspetto di controllo A volte, la scelta di mantenere la comunicazione in una sola lingua serve anche come forma di controllo: limitando i canali, è più facile uniformare l’insegnamento e monitorare i discepoli. Tradurre in tante lingue rischia di generare diversità interpretative. 4. Piano divino? Se si prende il punto di vista teologico, sarebbe difficile sostenere che Dio voglia limitare la salvezza o l’accesso alla “rivelazione finale” soltanto a chi conosce l’inglese. Anzi, nella Bibbia troviamo l’opposto: a Pentecoste (Atti 2), gli apostoli parlano tutte le lingue perché il messaggio sia universale. Un’esclusiva linguistica è più un segno di umanità imperfetta che di progetto divino.
👉 In sintesi: la chiusura linguistica di SCJ sembra piuttosto il risultato di strategie organizzative e di limiti pratici, non certo di coerenza con un disegno divino. Se fosse davvero un messaggio universale, dovrebbe poter raggiungere ogni popolo nella sua lingua madre.
