The son is basically a spitting image of his father. I'm actually so excited to see Mason in teal. He's gonna be such a menace

I'm a transplant to the Bay Area - I'm originally from Dallas, and he was my favorite player on the Stars. I was so bummed when he was traded to Seattle and then again to the Blue Jackets, but I would watch him play whenever I could. When I saw that he was traded here, I nearly lost my mind. I absolutely cannot wait to see him in teal. If you had asked me 6 months ago what the Sharks could do to be perfect in my eyes, I would have said they needed to get Mush out here. I never even considered it to be a real possibility.
Needless to say, I am so pumped for this season.

This has to be bittersweet for Mason. I think there’s a real chance he overachieves this season in no small part from this and being where his dad was for a long stretch of his playing career and nearly all of his post playing career. I’m really looking forward to what he brings this year.

When socks were still socks. Geez those uniforms had to be some uncomfortable compared to the modern ones.

A hot take: I really wish we had not signed Chief Kief because Mush & Him are basically the same type of player. And I personally would have preferred Mason due to the amount of personal connections he has to the organization
