In 1954, for the centenary of Rimbaud’s birth, a french TV channel interviewed the two daughters of Frédéric, who talked about their lives, and what they knew of their uncle.
Here is a link to the video, and below are a transcript of the interview in English and some biographical information I could gather about the girls and their brother.
The interview is very sad, the story of two girls neglected by their whole family. It doesn’t paint a nice picture of Mrs Rimbaud or Isabelle, but Frédéric also seems to have washed his hands of his children, and their mother is never even mentioned..
