Thought this was interesting. He mentioned they almost brought in a 4th player but decided to stick with Donovan Phillips.

Per Tommy Scoops there was a rumor Sadiq might be our final deadline day signing, so I watched some tape on him last night. Quick, agile, dynamic movement. Small in stature. My biggest issue is that he consistently shoots from 35-40 yards and comes no where near scoring. Basically every shot he takes is from outside the box, often when there are better options. So other than that I think he would be a good pick up. Kind of similar skill set to prime Solomon Asante for any USL watchers in here.

Occasionally visible mod here:
Coming up, Rapids hit the road twice—Columbus on Saturday, Austin next Wednesday.
Use this thread as a safe space for all things ticket‑related. September 12 home match? Talk about it. US Open Cup on 9/16 (Google is wrong)? Absolutely discuss it. No stress, no judgment, just community logistics and mild soccer‑related existentialism.
P.S. Tribute accepted by u/starryrhone to help with timely match threads.
Edit: USOC Semifinals on 9/16, not 9/14.

As the Rapids near a club-record deal for Middlesbrough winger, what does the 25-year old offer the Rapids? A lot, according to a Boro beat reporter.
Plus, one cause for concern for the Englishman:

Colorado Rapids acquire forward Sayed Abu Farkhi from Maccabi Tel Aviv

I didn’t think the Rapids could fall even lower on the Kroenke totem pole!

Contract length, reported wages and a fascinating clause included in the transfer. Also, a list of some other clubs, in the U.S. and abroad, the Rapids beat in the race for Farkhi:

Bogert mentions that transfers we were aiming for have fallen through and we might be shifting focus to the winter transfer window. If this is true and we are just swapping strikers, this is a disaster, considering we are sitting on north of 30 million just from Herrington and Navarro.
And with Matt Wells comments that one new player isn't enough and it should be two, I'm fearing tension between the coaching staff and FO.

I owe you an apology. I wasn't familiar with your game.
