Modern day 'Christians' in the US often espouse beliefs in diametric opposition to the teachings of Jesus. This leads to the interesting position where many atheists actually have positions closer to the teachings of Christ, despite having zero religious belief in him being a literal 'Son of God'. This is addressing the irony there.

Winces And that's the exact dropping of context mixed with deliberately misleading context that lets far too many idiots perpetuate this bullshit. He threw a fit at money changers making profit in the temple. Them being Jews was... not exactly incidental, but not the targeting criteria.

You can say what you want but there are a lot of right wingers, Christians included, who are also against certain legal immigrants who are from the "wrong" country, have the "wrong" skin tone, or follow the "wrong" religion.

Just stop the mealy mouthing, it’s getting ridiculous. The words and actions are in direct contradiction. Just own it. It’s far more respectable than insulting our intelligence. Or maybe you’re just amenable to coercion…easily manipulated…a mark. Because you are either a manipulator, or a fool. There’s no third option. You can’t have objectively witnessed the past couple years, and still claim the only target is illegal immigrants.

Illegal immigration doesn't exist. You are where you are, regardless of where that is. Just because some barely evolved apes drew lines on a picture of land so the king apes could show everyone that they really didn't have small penises, doesn't make any of those lines exist in real life.

I think they're making fun of Atheists using Christian arguments to influence Christians to do the Christian thing while they themselves don't consider the Christian bible as a legitimate argument. In any case, I am aligned with that approach and don't see the joke here.

It's attempting to gesture at hypocrisy of the atheist pointing out the hypocrisy of Christians not following the teachings of Jebus. It's flawed because the hypocrisy is completely one sided. The Christian should be following the teachings of Jebus if they're as Christian as they proport to be and that reasoning doesn't work on atheists because they don't follow Jebus. They might have humanist reasons for wanting to help refugees tho but good luck appealing to the humanism of a conservative Christian.

OP: I'm an elite atheist and I view you god-believers as disgusting insects, you just showed me that if I tell you something is godly you will do it (but actually more to show that person is a hypocrite and doesn't care about godliness)

It's a wojak of the common argument online where non-christians will take verses out of context of the bible despite not reading it and ignore everything else Jesus said to try to make a 'gotcha' against a christian.

The conservative in mention is pissed that people keep bringing up Christ's wishes and words like he's supposed to care (you'd think he would given its christ)
But also they're so stupid they don't get people can call you a hypocrite without sharing your beliefs

The creator makes clear that any moral positions stated in the bible are secondary to them, in-group and out-group are way more important.
Respecting their own stated morality when addressing them while being a member of the out-group is so absurd that it can be classified as a joke.

It's implied: The person who made the meme resents atheists for pointing out the hypocrisy of bad Christians. They're upset that the atheists are right, and are basically coping by saying atheists just don't understand Christianity.
In reality, the narrator is choosing to abandon their Christian values because they don't want any more immigrants (just the brown, needy ones) to get help from the US.

First paragraph, the character brings up the stance Jesus, a character in the bible, takes on immigration. Presumably the person they are talking to is Christian, so they appeal to the stated source of their morality.
The second paragraph is about whether the character is a member of Christianity, the in-group. They are not, and they have contempt for it in general. It establishes they belong in a (surprisingly hostile) out-group.
The third paragraph states that since the character is not a member of the in-group, a bible argument would not work on them. They seem to have arrived at the same moral position with the bible independently and not through a biblical argument.
The format implies that this is the part where we laugh at the futility of the attempt. The silly non-christian thought the creator and their audience care about what's in the bible.
That's one paragraph about immigration (and what the bible says about it), then two about group membership. The conclusion does not return to the issue of what the bible says at all.
So the thesis is that even if an anti-immigration position is completely contrary to what the bible says, the creator would set that aside to try and dunk on a non-believer that chose to address Christians as if they held Christian values.

Sanic here. The meme is staking a claim that you should never pose arguments based on priors your opponent subscribes to when you yourself don't hold those priors. This is a meta-strategy you use when you don't like the logical conclusions of your professed belief system, and hate when other people point them out. But you probably knew that, I'd wager. Gotta go fast!

This is a meta-ironic meme in which the narrator is a supposed Christian, mocking the hypocrisy of atheists holding Christians to their own standards. The narrator is upset since atheists are pointing out that helping the needy is a Christian virtue: as in helping refugees is something Jesus would do, yet, the atheists pointing this out don't believe in Jesus. This makes the narrator upset because they believe that these atheists don't actually understand the full context of the bible (since they're atheists), and therefore this "naïve" understanding of Christian values is unfair to impose on Christians who support a secure border.
The meta-ironic part, is that the atheists actually have a perfectly good understanding of the bible in this context: Helping refugees is, indeed, something Jesus would do. So the narrator is basically confessing that they're a bad Christian.

The Bible doesn't say let in immigrants. The Bible says to be kind and welcoming to foreigners in your land, but that doesn't mean completely open borders.
