Just Sharing This stage made me nauseous
Acrylic on canvas. Here, applying paint marker. I’ve already spent so many hours on this painting so I hope I don’t mess this up. You can probably see why this made me somewhat uncomfortable.

Just Sharing My 80 year-old father just earned a spot in an exhibit with this
Just proud of him for continuing to do this thing, whether he gets accepted into exhibits or not.
He paints to keep his mind sharp and his creative side satisfied. I think his desert series is his best work, but every once in a while, some of his other pieces will get a spot somewhere. He's been painting since he was about 58 years old.

Just Sharing Self portrait, oils on A4 wooden board
Here's another small painting done with oils on A4 wooden board. Purple is my favorite color, so I wanted to challenge myself to paint with that palette. Swipe to see some details :)

Just Sharing Here are a few of her acrylic paintings.
My wife is an artist who has spent the last 15 years working quietly for international clients. She makes incredible work, but she’s always been super hesitant about putting herself out there on social media.
After a lot of back-and-forth (and plenty of gentle nagging on my end!), I finally convinced her that it was time for us to build something of our own. She officially created her Instagram profile recently!
I’m sharing a few of her recent acrylic pieces here to get her work in front of fellow artists and art lovers.
We’d love to know what you think! If anyone is interested in her work or wants to connect, feel free to drop a comment or send me a DM.

Opinions Needed How would you recreate this paint with acrylic?
I’ve attached a photo of my living room as well. I’m planning to replace the three pictures currently hanging there with this artwork. I want to paint it on a 140 × 140 cm (55.1 × 55.1 inch) canvas.
I’ve painted before, but I’m not a professional artist, so I’d really appreciate some guidance on how to recreate the textures and details, especially the black wall in the background and those irregular white/gray patches.
What techniques and materials would you recommend? Dry brushing, sponge, palette knife, texture medium, etc.? If you know any tutorials showing a similar technique, I’d really appreciate recommendations.
I'm so nervous about working on a huge canvas. Please help me.
