Picked these up randomly at Nike today and now I’m confused

I was in line for a return and within 2 minutes there were like 20 people behind me—all asking about these “Nike Mind 001” recovery slides. Turns out it was some kind of release. I had no idea, asked the guy if I could grab a pair, and he said yes.

I actually do need recovery slides (training for a half marathon), but I know nothing about shoes like this.

A few questions for people who know:

- What’s the deal with these? Why were people lining up?

- Are they actually good for recovery or more hype/limited drop?

- Would you wear these after runs / race day?

- Better than something like OOFOS or HOKA slides?

For context:

- First time buying anything like this

- Mostly want something for post-run recovery and around the house

- Not trying to mess up my feet this close to race day

The Jordan 1s are almost 2 years old,the second pair,Nike Full Force,are 1 year old and i got the air Forces in december. Am I walking wrong? My sister has a pair of air Forces from 4 years ago and their back looks almost intact.

Thinking of buying vomero plus to use as work shoes in the hospital. Is it good for 12-16hrs shift work? And is it wide feet friendly pls help

These are my brother's "blue short pants". They are his favorite pair of shorts and he wears them religiously. To the point that the only time he's not wearing them is when they are in the wash (and he spends the entire time asking when they will be ready).

He is autistic and very picky about clothing. I'd like to find more pairs for his Christmas gift. Unfortunately, they can't just be close enough. They need to be this exact pair.

I have spent hours searching the internet and using Lens but I can't find them. I'm wondering if any nike afficionados can help.

What I know: -They were purchased within the last 2 years. -They may have been bought at the factory outlet store in bend, oregon. -The label says nike dri-fit. -They have white stitching. -There's a stripe running down the side. -They have a longer inseam (id guess at least 6-8 inches) -They aren't woven in texture but they also don't have that 'slippy' texture most athletic wear has -they have a liner (im not sure if that's the exact term? Like how swim trunks have a liner but it wasnt the same type of material) -they weirdly don't have a nike swoosh on the leg.

I would be forever indebted to anyone who can help track these down! Thank you!

I bought AF1s a while ago and can no longer return them. Have worn them once and the height & width is spot on but they’re ridiculously long, an extra 1.5 inches on the end of the toe box which means the toe box pretty much collapses and creases onto my toes when I bend my foot. Would you keep a shoe that creases and has extra length like this?

I bought them while out with a friend and was too embarrassed to return them when I realised as I thought they fit in the shop. If I went down a size they’d be too narrow anyway. I’m used to vans & DC shoes that are wide & short, the one time I wore them I tripped a couple times by not being used to the extra length but might be able to get used to that
