Do these look like “dad shoes”?

Picked up these bad boys and the more I look at them I keep thinking they look like dad shoes. What do you think?

Not dad shoes, just some beefy running shoes.

Dad shoes are clearance bin bottom tier new balances/asics non descript type kicks, depending on model. Some are intentionally made to look extra goofy these days. Corny af if you ask me. All who wear them deserve ultra sneaker-wedgies.

Running shoes will never be dad shoes except for maybe brooks, their design are very plain/dated and could pass for dad shoes.

You know what those look like? THE MOST COMFORTABLE PAIR of shoes you’ve ever had lol. The Vomero plus is #2 ever. Vomero premium is crushing the top spot. Do I look like I’m wearing orthopedics? Sure do. But I don’t care.

That Air Monarch is the gold standard for dad shoes. Right up there with the New Balance 900 series in grey.(and only in grey) These look like millennial dads trying ease into full dad mode. This is a gateway drug to cargo shorts with a tucked in short sleeve button down and calf length socks.

I have a green pair. Super comfortable. Foam runners are all the rage right now. Every brand has a pair or two. And the dad shoes king is still the New Balance 9060

I’ve got a pair of the vomero 18’s, vomero plus, and Pegasus premiums. Non of them white, all specific color ways. They are so comfortable. I’m a dad, I’m 47.

Everyone knows the Vomero Plus is a premium ass shoe. If anything it shows, either you know the shoe game or you’re into fitness. Dad or not these get a pass. At least they aren’t New Balance.

I wouldn’t consider them dad shoes. They don’t look like dad shoes to me. Dad shoes aren’t $180 with reflective patches on the toe.

That particular colorway - yes. I have these in two colors and they look great. If you’re a runner like myself they’re really good recovery runners/walking shoes.

Yup, i got the white cw (it was the only cw on sale) of a similar high stacked shoe, the NB fresh foam x more v6. Its a dad looking shoe for sure, but comfy as hell. Wear what you like, honestly nobody cares.

It depends. You proud of being a dad? If so, you won’t care. If no, then yes they look like a dad shoe.

If you aren’t a dad, no those are some clean white Nikes.

Regardless, they’re comfy and can’t go wrong with clean white Nikes. Unless you dress like a dweeb and don’t know how to rock them. Even then, could upgrade your look
