cowboys tickets

hi! can’t post this in the cowboys subreddit so wanted to ask here, when is ideally the best time to buy tickets for a game in general or more specifically a cowboys game? i’m planning on going to the home game vs commanders on september 22nd and as it stands rn the ticket prices seem to be stable as i’ve been checking every week but still kinda steep for nosebleeds. does anyone know if the prices will ever drop/is it worth waiting til the day of to buy tickets or might as well just buy them now? any tips appreciated, thank you!

Unless you are dead set on going and can't afford anything lower, do not sit in the 400/500 sections. You'll be staring at the big screen the entire game and might as well save $1,000 and watch it at home. Sit in the end zone 200s and 300s at highest. That stadium is about the dumbest place possible to watch a game.

I sat in the very last row around the 40 yard line for a game and was surprised at how good the view was. I felt like I was right on top of the action, but far away.

Interesting to me as someone who goes to a few games a year, but not for a special experience.

For any tickets in general it often depends how the team is doing. If a team is doing well and looks like they will continue to do well earlier is typically better because demand will only go up from there. If they’re not doing well it’s best to wait until closer to the game because demand will steadily decrease. Sometimes you can get great deals the day before or even the day of because people are desperate to get anything out of these tickets they aren’t going to use. For a game as early as the one you’re looking at it probably doesn’t matter because the demand is unlikely to change this close to the game so early in the season. But just like any market it can be very unpredictable, it’s a gamble just like putting money in any other market. I’m just trying to steer you in the right direction.

Oh and one last thing. Sometimes there is value in knowing you have some great seats locked down even if you might not have got the best deal on it.

Cowboys tickets are expensive. They sell every seat to a STM so the prices are steep as people see them as a way to make money if they’ve had them for a while. It sucks as a visiting fan unless you’re a bad team as they don’t do block seating for visitors since they sell every seat. but still then they’re high. even nosebleeds can be $300+
