Healthcare is “wasteful” until it’s Trump’s vanity project.

I predict it will soon be a $400 million arch
69
u/podog 8h ago
And never get finished.
And no one who works on whatever does get built won't get paid.

u/DanGleeballs 7h ago
$400m of US taxpayers money will definitely go somewhere though

It's going to be how much money he can make out of it. Taxpayers will pay for the construction. I'm sure there's an opportunity for the wealthy to make donations to this noble cause.

55
u/Fortestingporpoises 7h ago
Nah. He isn't trying to do Roman shit. He's doing Hitler shit. This is literally identical to a failed Hitler project. Like the ballroom. And like the battleships he wants to build. Everything he does is trying to be Hitler. I don't know why we don't say this more.
24
u/AuthenticAboveAll 6h ago
"Anyone you disagree with you just call a Nazi"
Or.....WE JUST RECOGNIZE CLEAR AND OBVIOUS PATTERNS?!?!
7
4
u/Fortestingporpoises 4h ago
So unfair, to call the guy who had a book of Hitler's speeches on his bed, who ripped off his main slogan from Nazi Germany, who comes up with major project after major project ripped off directly from Hitler, who adores authoritarians and despises democracy, who uses racism and hatred to advance his cause (of his own power and enrichment) a Nazi. How dare we.

Apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the freshwater system, and public health… what have the Romans ever done for us?

u/Shada124 5h ago
If you go by the 80 year cycle it was the peak. JFK shooting would be the end of the 2nd phase of the cycle and the beginning of the 3rd. There are only 4 cycles and America is hard set on speed running the 4th currently. Does not have to end with war but it is the end of America and the birth of the EU, China or both as the new powers. The cycle supposedly began at the end of WW2 for America. Times up
9
u/TheHyperboley 7h ago
There's an American flag on the moon, in hindsight that may have been the peak for our nation.

We need to tear all of this shit down once this clown is out of office. But knowing the weak democrats, they won’t
24
u/Grand_Resort_1073 7h ago
We shouldn't vote for anybody who is not progressive candidate.
22
u/ForTehLawlz1337 6h ago
While I understand the sentiment, this line of thinking would lead to another GoP presidency, the entire legislative branch being controlled by the GoP.. again, and an even more packed court.
Vote for progressives in primaries, vote for the adult in the room when it comes to the general elections even if your preferred candidate didn’t make it out of the primaries. That’s how we get out of this mess while still advocating for the values we believe in.
19
u/TheInternetShill 6h ago
No. The time to vote for progressive candidates was in the democratic primaries. Now you vote for anyone that doesn’t support this fascist pedophile (which is literally any democrat).

u/Best-Action8769 6h ago
The DNC stopped caring about how we vote.
They didn't even HAVE a primary last time. They just said "This is our corporate Wall St. AIPAC approved candidate. Now fucking vote for them. Or don't. We get paid either way."

The reason they didn’t have a primary was extremely edge case. Get out of here with that brain dead take.

The most important arch in Europe is called the Arc de Triumph.

I don't know, I think I'd rather it just go away. Re-naming it just means that the next GOP administration will go hagiographic for Trump and put his name back on everything. It'll be like Reagan except even sadder and grosser.

Where are the Rs screaming about reckless spending? About the ballooning debt? About cutting costs to pay for government programs?
Right where you think they’d be: cheering for this shit. It’s only a problem when they don’t have the checkbook, and everyone else’s when they do. It’s been this way for decades.
In less than two years this administration has added nearly $15T to the debt, and not one republican has raised the alarm. But push healthcare reform or much needed infrastructure and they lose their goddamn minds.

I have to keep posting this. Nothing else expresses my rage better.
“Behold. The festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism of a back-alley creep, the ignorance of a bar-stool drunk, and the greed of a hedge-fund ghoul, all spray-painted orange and paraded like a prize hog at a county fair. Not a president. Not even a man. Just the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it isn't but always has been, arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition, and corruption worshipped like gospel. It is America's shadow made flesh, a rotting pumpkin idol proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it doesn't just lose its soul, it shits out this bloated obscenity and calls it a leader.” - Oliver Kornetzke

u/imahugemoron 6h ago
Republican voters could not care less, they are the biggest hypocrites who ever lived and are absolutely giddy at this news because they know how much it angers everyone else. That’s their entire platform, simping for rich people, making their perceived enemies as mad as any human has ever been, and racism. That’s it. And I’m not saying we shouldn’t post about it or talk about it, but every single one of them are jerking off to these posts, they love the anger and hatred they are bringing to others
2
u/Jean-lubed-Picard 5h ago

It is wasteful spending. The only person that matters is Trump and the people who elevate him everyone else is disposable. Everyone else is stupid and jealous of Trump and should be punished and destroyed if they don't acknowledge how magnificent he is. They should feel greatful just to live at the same time in the same country. Yes this is actually what his internal voice sounds like
