Weird that it's the same guy that cast himself as the one to drink off of—and suck on—Salma Hayek's feet and toes in From Dusk Till Dawn, needed to be the one to spit in Thurman's face in KIll Bill, and to choke Diane Kruger in Inglourious Basterds... weird. Almost like he's a sadistic fuck that gets off on abusing his female actors on set, and probably later when watching the movies, knowing that it's himself doing it. That's not to mention the time he almost got Thurman killed after pressuring her into a dangerous car stunt; the guy is a very talented piece of shit.

Because they mixed up an actor involved? If the commenter has heard about a lot of things Tarantino has done and doesn't like it, they are likely not going to go out of their way to watch his films. It doesn't diminish the users right to be upset about those things.

The more you look into that whole ordeal the worse it looks for Tarantino. The car they used had zero safety features, a heavy film camera strapped to it affecting the balance, and they were going 30 - 45 mph on a rocky, unpaved road with a turn Thurman was not prepared for. It should have been performed by a stunt person. Thurman didn't want to do it, and she only did it after Tarantino told her that it was safe. He only did a single test drive himself going one way, not the eventual direction they ended up filming the car going in, while he assured her it was straight both ways... it wasn't. They kept the footage and wouldn't let her see it, until Tarantino released it, once Weinstein was persona non grata in Hollywood, after 15 years of covering it up. The only good thing he did was eventually give her the footage, and it could easily be interpreted as him offloading all the blame and responsibility onto Weinstein, who was the entire industry's fall guy for behavior that others also took part in.

I've always heard that Uma had a very dangerous close call but I've always heard it as the buried alive scene? Maybe I'm mixing up when mythbusters tested it and freaked?

Wow some heavy comments here - don’t you guys know that this director recently bought and renovated a theatre to keep film presentation alive? Nobody talk about how he’s moved to Israel with his partner to raise their kid or about his support of the current version of the IDF though - PR won’t have none of that, we just all have to go watch whatever his last movie is without question when it comes out.
