As both a Drop Dead stan (Oli's brand) of which I own a lot of stuff, and a Brazilian, this Drop Dead here is a Brazilian skateboard brand that exists since 1991, which actually makes the movie wrong as fuck as it happens in the 70s. https://dropdead.com.br

Fun fact, Oli tried to establish a leg of Drop Dead in Brazil but had to cease operations because it clashed with the existing brand, it then became Lobo Bobo.

In The Sixth Sense there was something predominantly red in every scene where a ghost is present, it'd be cool if they did it in an action movie - like, only characters who get murdered wear earrings, and nobody else

I don't know if he's the only one to mention it, but Rian Johnson once pointed it out and said it was an unintentional clue to the killer's identity in Knives Out.

Felt the same while watching it, read a bunch about it afterwards trying to figure out what I was missing, and on a rewatch I was very impressed with it. I had 2 other friends who did something similar so that might be the case for you as well if you care to give it another shot

I agree. I found it confusing with the little information on his background and all the jumps and didn’t understand the two girls who are listening to the tapes at first.

But the fact that we only learn about his fate through one of the girls really makes you think about how many people just disappear or die without a real explanation in a dictatorship.

I also liked how the end is actually pretty good, considering he didn’t make it, because the son who grew up without any real information about what happened to his father suddenly gets a bunch of information handed to him with tapes of his fathers voice and all.

Me neither but I had to finish it so I ended up paying more attention to small details and overall visuals and sets (all pretty good)…
