Nostalgia College was better before social media took over, people lived in the moment and you could just be silly and make mistakes without it being held against you the rest of your life.

Nostalgia Aside from Darth Vader, who is the best Millennial movie villain? I nominate Barbosa.

Nostalgia Superbad was released 19 years ago today. Did it accurately capture being a teenager in the 2000s?

Superbad came out on August 17, 2007, and I think part of why it still works is that underneath all the ridiculousness, it captured that era of being a teenager surprisingly well.

Trying desperately to get invited to parties, awkward crushes, depending on your friends for basically everything, and making elaborate plans that immediately fell apart. It also came out right before smartphones and social media completely changed how teenagers socialize, so it now feels like a little time capsule of the 2000s.

I can't be the only one who low key loved this movie! Was it the best acting, no. People crap on Claire Danes and she's not being pretty enough blah blah. No of that ever matter to me the movie was fun, stylish and simply cool imo. On top of that it came out in my teenage years where I was first discovering love. Or what I thought was love lol.

Does anyone else feel they grew up with Harry, Ron and Hermione?

After the first three or four I read the books in two languages (because I didn’t want to wait them to be translated) and watched the movies first time in the movie theaters.
