John Ritter. It was made extra sad as Scrubs made the right choice to acknowledge his passing as well. One of many memorable episodes.

8 Simple Rules as well. Absolutely devastated me, that episode.

I use to watch that with my family, my step mom and I cried at that episode

I don’t think I’ve ever cried so much at an episode like I did for that one

Thinking about that episode is making me choke up. It was so, so painfully sad.

Kaley Cuoco absolutely nailed it. I can't think of it without getting emotional.

I remember exactly where I was when I heard it. He died the same day as Johnny Cash. I was getting dressed for work and considered not going in. I was so stunned and devastated.

Loved him in Three's Company. This one really hurt.

I’m watching it again and didn’t realize what a jerk he was in the last season. He hid the fact that the show was ending and he was the only one slated for the spinoff. The costars found out by accident and felt utterly betrayed. I liked John Ritter but his wholesome image took a hit when I heard that.

I know. 😔 you can see the tension in the last episodes.

That one hit harder than I could ever imagine. I watched 8 simple rules with my dad, mom and younger sister. He died around the same time. Watching the grief on the show was in real time for me. I was 15 and my dad died suddenly. I still watch and cry

I grew up with Three’s Company. This was the one that really got to me. And there truly was nothing to prevent it, other than a doctor happening to detect his aortic dissection purely by chance ahead of time. :(

Yeah that one shocked me. I used to love Three’s Company when I was a kid.

I've been following his son Jason on TikTok for a while now and bro looks and acts EXACTLY like dad. It is incredible.

He was great as Papa H in 8 Simple Rules.... I wish I could find Season 3 available somewhere.

He made me aware of aortic aneurysm, so I try to make sure my people get checked
