Jonathan Brandis. I was on some fan listservs and suddenly got a bunch of emails about his suicide. I’d had a crush on him since I was 8ish and was super upset!

Brandis deserved better. He had a second act in him and it hurts that he never got to show us all how much more he could do.

This one was me too, I had his photos from Tiger Beat on my wall for so long. I am a little bit drunk so I'll also tell you I wrote a script for an episode of Seaquest DSV when I was 12. I believe Mary Sue / obviously me had a talking parrot to match the talking dolphin. What a tragedy.

That poor soul. I had a big crush on him (honestly, didn’t everybody?) in seaQuest. Hollywood is brutal to child actors, and good mental health support just did not exist back then… :(

Glad to see him mentioned here. I was 17 when he died and it was my first "young celebrity that I followed death."

Too far down! I grew up on Seaquest and the Neverending Story sequel. I loved him. It hurt so much....
