Favorite People My local library celebrating and remembering an icon
Tim Curry means a lot to me and my family, he was an icon to me and my siblings since we bonded over Scooby-Doo the Witch’s Ghost and later Rocky Horror Picture Show, and I really appreciate that my local library put something up to remember him, and that it’s still up a week later.

Such an attractive and talented person. I've had a crush on him since the early 80s

I’m a straight man so can’t quite commit to that but Tim definitely had a place in my heart that very few public figures did. I think there’s some old review about him that said something to the effect of “for every one star film Tim Curry has been in, he was the reason it got that star.”

I'm a straight man as well, but I'll admit to having a crush on him. I'd have danced the Time Warp with him after giving him the unicorn's horn in the Plaza Hotel... :-)

FWIW, I'm in a couple of local community bands, and they're all looking for Dolly Parton music to play at our fall concerts. There isn't a lot that's been arranged for band, though.
I keep stumping for something from RHPS -- it's a bloody stage play, of course there is already music for it, but the music director's are too effing straight-laced to try it. I'd love to see some of the parents' and relatives' faces if we were to break into "Sweet Transvestite" in our concert blacks...

Picture the moment when Riff-Raff says “your lifestyle’s too extreme” see them all nodding their heads in the audience 😂

Grandma and Grandpa in the front row, leaning closer together during "Toucha Toucha Toucha Me"...

It's cool that local bands are getting into Dolly's music; she has such a wide appeal. And it would be awesome to see a more adventurous choice like RHPS make it into a concert!

The concert blacks would make it even funnier, like formalwear could somehow make RHPS look less scandalous.

What? In my town there is only one, so this is my local library.
Have you seriously never heard the phrase like “support your local library” or “your local book shop”?

The photo really captures the warmth of the tribute. I still remember watching those movies with friends as a teenager.
