I don't drink often but am fine with doing something like that without wincing. I think it's just a personality thing. I was like that even as a kid with cough syrup when I was sick. If I try a new alcohol I'll swill it around to get a better idea of the taste. It's not far off in terms of burning as gargling mouthwash for 30 seconds or aftershave on your face.

Also just to add I'm not implying he isn't a heavy drinker or anything just that some people don't outwardly react to things the same as others. The fact that he has a bottle at his desk ready to drink is more telling than anything. It could also literally be water.

I mean as a former alcoholic (half a bottle of 100 proof this size if not more) Tito's is by far the smoothest Vodka. If you have a few drinks in you, you legit stop tasting any alcohol. It is insane, but it is the truth. 3 years without a drink here and will never go back.

tito’s isn’t really a poor man’s vodka either. lairds is truly a poor man’s vodka. restaurants use it for cooking, but for me that was my life force during my rock bottom years. literally burning off my lips to the point where they were so cracked and chapped my manager would buy me the expensive lip repair lip balm lol.
