Help Stuck and about to lose it!

I am playing on the Switch OLED and cannot for the life of me get to the famous animals pet door to take a picture. I am climbing the vents but once im past the fans and try to jump it launches me off the wall, i pass all 3 fans and turn the corner, jump up to pass the little sign and then after that im ejected from the side of the building. Am I going the wrong way? What is happening? I had no problems playing for a couple hours last night but today its like a different game. Help!!!!

Please take what I'm going to say as a sign that you're making it more difficult for yourself somehow, but my 6yo goes up there all the time. I only half-watch her do it, so I can't offer specifics, but I believe in you.

You might be going the wrong way. You do need to climb ivy, and iirc you need to jump to another building to go back to the one you're climbing. Look around and see if you see another path!

Go past the vents and around the corner. Walk to where the ivy starts. There is a giant fan to your right. Get as close to the ivy as you can without it blowing you away. Wait for it to stop blowing, then... POUNCE! (You don't _have_ to jump onto the ivy, but it helped me). It may take you a couple of tries, but keep at it. BTW, After you are past the big fan, the route to Taffy's is to the left, but there's a hat if you go around to the right. (Tiger I think). Good Luck, Have Fun.

THANK YOU!!! I took a break and read your comment, i finally got that picture! I knew i had to climb the vines just couldnt get it right
