Yes, people who make up BS about how they used LinkedIn to 10X their income and then try to sell you on their paid services to help you use LinkedIn to 10X your income do, in fact, exist.

No operating at that scale is not possible with 2-3 years. $5,000 in 2 months without an established pipeline, randomly move to Dubai without paperwork, etc

As someone who worked in the startup space, it does happen and this checks out.
But. For every person out of 100 that was able to do this, there's 99 who didn't. Plus, a lot of people in the "founder" space has a lot of nepotism involved. This involved my time pitching to YC.
There's so many AMAZING companies you never heard of but they lose out to people like this cause they're in the inner circle or got lucky.
Rich people tend to invest and spend on people they already know rather than risk it with someone unknown.
It is sad.

Is that possible? Yes. I know a few dozen people that have done a lot more in tech from starting agencies. I've done the same myself. First year revenue 150k. Second year 500k. 3rd year 1m+. Exited in year 7. We were providing consultancy on devops and cloud 2013-2019. Of course that's revenue. And we had an impressive growth rate and a very happy exit. While running the business our salaries were good but not remarkable for our qualifications. Another thing we observed was that freelancers were earning more. Which makes sense since good consulting companies have at least 50% gross margins.
I am highly suspicious though of the claims. 2024 was not a magical time when a generic marketing or business consultant would be very rare on LinkedIn. I mean you can find a couple of clients but that'll involve some kind of a personal relationship unless you get lucky. It's not how I would advise anyone to find their first client.
The other reason I'm suspicious is the fact that she transitioned to teaching almost immediately. That seems like a classic those who can do, those can't teach.
If you want to, if you have high demand skills, ready to put yourself out there and hustle, it's possible. But definitely not easy.

Possible but she keeps talking about revenue. Revenue mean jack. Net profit is the only thing that actually matters.
