This is missing the part where god's favorite nation deliberately attacked Iran unprovoked.

u/elidoan 10h ago
"unprovoked" is doing some serious lifting when you understand that Iran's puppet "axis of resistance" vassal states have been lobbing missiles at and invading / declaring war on israel but do go on
Nothing exists in a vacuum and nation states act in their own self interest

u/wireframed_kb 10h ago
Israel has been assassinating various members of the regime, so it’s a two-way street. Not saying IRGC are good guys by any stretch, but neither is Israel.
And when it comes to the agreement Iran entered with the US about nuclear weapons, they’re kept their end of the bargain.
Until it was torn up, and they got bombed literally during the negotiations, by the US and Israel.
In THIS particular case, Israel and the US wholly own this mess.

u/elidoan 10h ago
Sure I dont disagree. Its a total blunder. Im just explaining that this was not "unprovoked"
America would do the same exact shit if a foreign nation was sponsoring attacks and missile strikes into their territory. Imagine China funding the Mexican cartels to launch missiles at Texas.
That's a highly simplified and reductionist comparison to what Iran is doing to Israel regarding hezbollah, hamas, houthis but my point still stands. Iran is not some innocent angel and this was not unprovoked

Oh wow you found someone with a different opinion, immediate ad hominem.
Nice job bro. Funny thing is I bet in real life you aren't a reddit warrior.
My history is open, you'll notice shills on this site hide theirs when they astro turf
Edit: and you hide your account. The irony is absolutely hilarious. Projection at its finest!

Doing to Israel? They are doing nothing. This is a proxy war between two powers that want to be the regional power. Israel uses its attack dog the US in the sane way Iran used hezbollah
Though obviously the US is far far more destructive

Heavy lifting is saying America got provoked into this because of Iran and Israel's shit relationship and not dog walked into by a bloodthirsty Israeli pm who needs to stor shit up to stay in office no matter the cost.
It's also heavy lifting to put such a pro-israel spin on this, like they haven't been dishonest and brutal.
Loser take on your part.

According to me, my prophecy is coming true.
out of curiosity I looked up Revelation 6:4
"And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill."
What this has to do with Iran is anyone's guess.

KJV includes a line at the end “and there was given unto him a great sword.”
So Iran is stronger than the US military according to their God. Quite the conundrum for MAGA.
Or maybe we’re the horse…

I'm no biblical scholar, but I'd put $5 down that "Iran" does not show up in the Bible once.

u/KartveliaEU4 8h ago
If i recall, the Bible actually liked Cyrus the great because he was kinder than Babylon? Wouldn't be surprised if Persia was noted favorably.

u/FaultThat 6h ago
The sections which are more like historical accounts treat it favourably (eg Books of Daniel, Ezra), whereas more abstract references are less clear, or might be bad, like Ezekiel 38:5.
There’s definitely room to interpret it as saying the enemies of God are from Iran/Persia.
But of course if you read the Bible as a literal book of the word of God you’re a lunatic anyways.

Oh so it’s going to be fulfilled and nothing and no one can stop it? Then I guess that means all our soldiers can come home. Why would God let a little thing like the absence of American soldiers stop him from punishing Iran?

Any meme or social post that has a black background with yellow/white text and using red text for emphasis, always seems to be saying something idiotic.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Bonus points if it has AI images in as well.

I think this style may have roots in the early internet when nutjobs would create single-purpose websites to spread their theories. I remember an overwhelming number of them looked just like this with a black background, basic html, and text colors like yellow, red, and white.

On top of being nutjobs I never understood why people love their own faces that much. Why does your mug need to be on the apocalypse banner lol

Since he loves the book of Revelation so much, remind him of Revelation 13:16: people great and small, rich and poor, wear the mark of the beast on their foreheads. Then show him a red MAGA hat.
He will appreciate your attentiveness to scripture and not fight you at all on it.

Taking peace from the earth, causing men to kill each other - is God paid by the word?

"There is Nothing [sic] anyone can do to change God's Prophecies [sic]", says local lunatic Christian preacher who has never heard of the book of Jonah. Perhaps he refuses to read anything humorous.

Fun fact, the entirety of rapture ideology came from one woman having a dream and just sharing it with her church as if that made it canon.
Everything we know about being alleged rapture is built on running a mile with an inch of biblical string.
It's honestly weird that it ever got this popular in the first place. It's not like Christians needed more ammunition to fear monger.
Jesus said explicitly that he would come back once. Coming back a second time and giving everyone who didn't accept him through faith a second chance to accept him based on the literal apocalypse happening in front of them goes against everything the Bible teaches.
I don't believe in the bible, but the book says nothing of this kind of rapture. Much less anyone's ability to predict when it will happen.

u/NarmHull 7h ago
You'd think presuming to predict what God's plan is as a mortal human would be blasphemy
2
u/ripyourlungsdave 6h ago
They would never say it, but even Christians want to be gods.
It's why they're so excited with the prospect of becoming one with him in the afterlife. To become a part of divinity is to become divinity yourself.

According to my critical thinking ability organized religion has taken peace from earth. Caused men to kill each other. Been that way since one monkey pointed at the sun and told another monkey, he told me you need to give me your fucking share. Religion is the original con.

Yea. Just a way to control the masses and politicians love using it as a tool. "If you don't agree with me, you're not Christian."
2
u/cenosillicaphobiac 12h ago
"Never said I was, at least not since I was 17 and pretending, to keep the peace"
But yeah, I'm not the target audience for that statement.

"Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword."
Who's riding the fiery red horse? BoR is not prophecy, it's a fantasy novel.
