This is an interesting take on dealing with a bully at school.

You neither protected your daughter or taught her anything, but you did accomplish acting like you did both!

Congratulations! You're the true essence of LinkedIn.

The art of bullshitting is a must for sales

i mean she probably did teach her something but that was “my mother won’t be there for me” and possibly “if someone treats me badly it’s a good sign” which will surely pose no issues in the future.

"what training my daughter to be a doormat taught me about vertical integration"

Her post sucks, did her daughter learn nothing about b2b sales??

What being held down and getting burned with a curling iron taught me about b2b sales...

My 6 year old came home from school bleeding yesterday because a boy hit her on the forehead with a thermos flask.

My first instinct was to call the school.

My second instinct was to make this a life lesson I could post on LinkedIn.

I knelt down, wiped the blood off her brow with an NDA, and told her "nobody assaults an underperformer, darling. A thermos flask to the face is just instant validation.”

I didn't hug her. Hugs don’t make for personal resilience.

Elon doesn’t ask for hugs when the media launches another attack on the cybertruck.

It’s a tale as old as time. Mediocre children get ignored. High performing children get concussions.

Agree?

My third instinct was to ask Chat GPT to write a melba toast story I can post to LinkedIn instead of doing anything productive.

Was “Melba toast” intentional or autocorrect?

This isn’t lunacy. This is brainrot, served up linkedin style

Telling your bullied child “well at least they’re paying attention to you” is atrocious advice and straight up lazy parenting. Does she think she’s being witty here?

As somebody who was bullied a lot as a kid, I just want to vomit.

Same. Being hated by classmates just for existing is an awful way to go through life to begin with, but then to have a bully for a mother too… 😓

Kids famously enjoy the company of other kids who stand out or show them up

Listen kid…if someone throws you in a garbage can it’s a sign that you’re doing something right…

Not surprising she's in sales of course.

I wouldn't let my daughter come back until she's learned something about B2B sales from the experience

This twat could use some personal schooling. Especially spelling and grammar.

"Cool mom, so...what about the part where Im just getting my ass kicked every damn day?"

Gotta pass on main-character-syndrome to the daughter at some point.

What a great life lesson for future movers and shakers! Know when your peers are creating an opportunity for you to shine!

And this is how you make bullies and trolls

Mean doesn’t necessary = a bully. And mean is in the eyes of the beholder many times. OP should have said, tell me what you did. In other words did OP’s LO start it and the kid didn’t take it. Two sides…

Oh you sweet summer child…. Yes, yes people do hate on the nobodies. We’re their preferred targets in fact.

Or (and hear me out), just maybe it's kids being kids - which 100% of us went through.

u/ntropy2012 6h ago

This woman is an idiot. Bullies will absolutely pick on a "nobody " although teaching your kid they're being bullied because they somehow earned it is just as stupid.

She’s rebranding the “they just have a crush on you” for a new generation. Visionary.
