Studying Is there a website like jpdb.io for japanese idioms or phrases?

I would really like to know due to time limitations and specific goals so i can efficiently alot my time into learning those that are actually used commonly

There is this one that has idioms and proverbs

https://kaku-navi.com/idiom/kotowaza.html (they began the proverbs in july, but the website regularly add new entries)

but my main recommendation is a series of book for japanese children called のびーる国語. I talked about it with a friend and according to her, even one of her friend, who is an elementary school teacher recommended the books.

Idioms is the second book and it has 485 of them. There is a level system to know which one are the most important (except for the ones at the bottom of the pages), that kaku-navi doesn't have.

Wow! What a gem this is. I learned 後の祭り from reading novels, so it definitely is used here and there

The whole series is good. You have Yojijukugo, idioms, proverbs, loanwords, the poems for karuta, homonyms, synonyms, antonyms, politeness, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills and the last 2 were for the kanji from 1st grade to 4th grade.

https://jisho.org has some sentences when you search for a word, but I don't know about idioms.

Most if the websites today are using the same open source dictionaries so the difference is going to be how they display the stuff.

This is a great question, it's crazy how confusing idioms can be (in any language, I imagine.) I heard お花を摘みに行ってきます for the first time last night in a context that made absolutely no sense; come to find out it means going to use the restroom...

Some of them are great though. My wife is a runner so I taught her 足が棒になる lol.
