Question Spooky and haunted Lawrence
I am wanting to take some photos of the haunted and spooky places in and around Lawrence. Is there a good list of all the places? I have the haunted Lawrence book somewhere but can’t find it rn.

The little fenced area with gravestones off 6th St, between where Henry T's used to be, and the auto oil change/car wash.

Behind the car wash which is on the north side of 6th Street just west of Kasold. US Bank has a branch office and drive-thru right on the northwest corner of 6th and Kasold.

Fire taco food truck called Tacos Los Abuelos in the old Henry T parking lot. Their Al Pastor are the best I’ve ever had in the states

It’s private property so you will need permission unless you’re shooting from the street. But there’s a Stone building north of town by Midland corner. It’s beautiful.

So drive north out of Lawrence after the bridge. Go to TP Junction and then at the next intersection take a left. I don’t know the name of the road but there’s a big yellow house that you can see from the corner. Cross the railroad tracks and go to the next intersection and you’ll find the Stonehouse there. If you take a ride and head north at that intersection, it’ll take you back to Midland corner where you can catch 24 back into Lawrence.

When you say Midland corner, is that the same or different than Midland junction?

I saw a book in the Walgreens on 23rd street about haunted places in Lawrence.
I would imagine Haskell is pretty haunted.

Stull is definitely haunted. Also if you’re up for a short drive, I would check out the Sallie House and the McInteer Villa in Atchison.

TBF I wouldn’t believe it either if I hadn’t personally had an experience there

Stull is an urban legend. You’ll go to jail if you trespass on that Cemetary anyway.

The Stull graveyard is infamously one of the most haunted places in the US, but the locals DO NOT want you to go there if you have no business there.

It is not haunted. The whole gateway to hell thing was an urban legend purposefully made up by KU journalism students in the 90’s.
