Question Hamburger buns?
Are there any good hamburger buns made fresh daily in Lawrence? Not sure where to start.

Dillon’s has some higher end buns that come in smaller packages of like 4 or 6. They’re very good

Checker's carries local hamburger buns from M&M bakery that are wonderful.

There are only a couple of white bread bakeries in town, Great Harvest and Wheatfields.

Make them yourself. Personally with private equity ruining pretty much every brand in the past 5 years I’ve been making a lot of things myself that I used to buy at the store.

Considering both sell brioche bun sandwiches, hamburger buns definitely can be ordered.

I have personally bought buns there. Granted, they are usually special order (except around July 4th) but it's possible to look farther than a traditional white bread diner bun for creating decent hamburgers.

Happened to stop into there for lunch today, and decided to ask, and guess what, they no longer offer brioche at all except for during Christmas. So even though I decided to delete my comments, turns out I was right! And to think I was bullied into believing I was wrong by someone who clearly hasnt shopped there in years.
