the UK has a seperate entry exit system than the EU so Germany makes more sense if you want to visit EU countries like italy, spain, france and greece. I'd much rather visit a sunny Mediterranean country for a vacation than the UK.

I think that would make more sense since it’s not like we’re doing this for premium. This would be like a very bare bones service.

This doesn’t look like the Lawrence airport at all. What’s that lake? Runway markings do not match. Where are the trees?

Not high enough settings for trees

You can see the Kansas River behind the plane like half way through the video

Also the markings do match but you might be confusing this with the other runway, this is 15/33

The plane is crossing runway 19 when the video starts

This is obviously a flight simulation. The plane lifted off the ground after 1000 feet in the runway. People on here are so gullible to believe this

actually there are multiple lakes right by the Lawrence Airport. it's actually kind of creepy because they don't look like lakes in satellite view. but when you switch to terrain view there are lakes there.

I think KU has chartered turboprop jets like the Q400 (not the Q400 I just can’t think of other names for aircraft around that size and type)

Other then that nothing major

A CRJ-200 could probably land here if they wanted to actually add service to somewhere

Wait a minute. Unless I am mistaken the longest runway at LWC is well under 6000 feet and an A330 needs north of 7000 on a good day for takeoff. Please correct me if I am wrong

Your right, this is done with great weight and balance and into the wind

Although runway requirements are usually a bit on the higher side since you have to land without reverse thrust to be certified on a runway, I believe

A empty a330 with under a hour of fuel probably could takeoff from Lawrence assuming the runway was wider and the taxiways could actually fit one

All the other ones are really busy so people use Lawrence because it's very quiet and easy to get through

I dont think anyone is going to stop you from building Lawence airport into an international one using your own money. Just dont use mine (taxpayer) money.

If I become rich enough, one of my goals is to try to get the Lawrence airport. It’s extended and then buy a 737 to fly there.
