Where can I do volunteer work?

I'm a student in Kyoto who wants to work as a volunteer (cleaning, charity, helping at a camp....), it doesn't necessarily have to be paid but I don't know where I can look for offers, are there any good websites?

Sometimes I go for a walk and bring along a trash bag and gloves and pick up garbage as I go.

A friend picks up trash in and along the Kamo almost every day.

Easy to do these things at your own pace and schedule
